Great atmosphere, it's nice to just sit and relax for a while. They're cups are small considering you're paying twice what you would pay at Tim Hortons, but that's typical for a cafe. The BLT I ordered was VERY small, but was good so I didn't mind too much, but they overbaked my brother's cookies until they were almost burned. The sole worker was also taking care of a baby, which I can understand, but it's still a little unhygienic.

So, we discovered Variety Cafe because we attended an art show opening for Bev Camp. Add ART to the things to love about this sweet place. It isn't our hood, so our visits may be somewhat infrequent, but we absolutely loved it and we will return. A great place to recommend for un poco cafecito with friends.

Such a lovely cafe! Staff were very friendly and accommodating and the food was awesome! I got the apple, brie, kale, and honey sandwich with a croissant and a lemonade, all of which were fantastic - I even got another lemonade to go on my way out. My friends each got a salami mommy sandwich and enjoyed them as well. I also highly recommend the La Noisette bagels they carry! Atmosphere is very fun yet cozy, I felt very comfortable during my visit. Will definitely come back when I can!Vegetarian options: They have a variety of vegan pastries.Dietary restrictions: They have a variety of gluten free pastries.

I live just around the corner from this cafe and have gone in about 4 times. The first two times the service was good and the staff was also different from later visits. Aside from the high price and long wait times, which, to be polite, I never made mention of to the staff, the service is altogether very poor. The last two times I've gone my very simple coffee order was wrong and the two male baristas working glared at me and generally created an unwelcoming atmosphere which seems inappropriate and unwarranted given I've never exchanged more words than my order details and a thank you with either of them. For such a small serving at such a high cost you'd think they could at least make the order correctly but I think this is the kind of place where you'd have someone spit in your drink for bringing it up.I'm not usually the kind of person to complain about restaurant service cause I don't care enough and understand mistakes happen but my recent experiences here have basically made me feel like my business isn't welcomed and as if they want to discourage me from going to this cafe in some weird, passive-aggressive way.

This place is great. A really eclectic vibe. Food is phenomenal, the vegan nanaimo bars are a personal favourite. Staff is friendly and atmosphere is super cozy and inclusive.

I always appreciate a place that has barista plant milks. The worst thing is when cafes use the grocery store bought Silk milks- so I'm happy I found a good cafe to go to in London that doesn't do that! The flat white I had was perfect! The ambiance was very cool too. ?

I have only eaten there twice, and both times are takeout rush kinds towards closing. So I haven't got to know the place as well as I should, but I'll definitely be going back! Delicious!!!!! If you're vegetarian, I'd recommend the hummus wrap with pickled vegetables mmmmmmmVegetarian options: Hummus wrap with pickled vegetables and lettuce; something else too I've forgotten? Ah well, didn't forget the food, right?
