Disappointing experience today . Brought my husband here with our 8 week old for his first Father’s Day along with our parents . The food took a while which we wouldn’t have complained about as we were having a great time chatting as we also got the perfect corner spot on the patio where we could park our stroller out of everyone’s way. However after we’d been waiting some time a man came out who I presume was the owner or manager to give us a hard time about bringing our 6 lb chihuahua who hadn’t made a peep the whole time and was laying on the ground under our stroller . We explained he’s old and has heart failure and we can’t leave him alone and he proceeded to heckle us . There are no signs posted saying no pets and he is so small and quiet no one else had even noticed him. I asked him what he expected us to do now and he mentioned a dog park near by as though the dog could leave and take himself there . All in all he really killed the vibe of the good time we were having and frankly in 2025 should be more accommodating especially on a holiday and when the “issue” wasn’t really an issue at all to anyone . Rules are fine but be reasonable and perhaps post them if you expect people to follow them. Any other pub patio we’ve been to not only allows pets but welcomes them this isn’t fine dining . Again no signs either . What they did have a sign for was advertising corona beer yet they had none go figure . Overall I felt unnecessarily bullied and won’t be going back .
The place has a good location with a lot of parks around and at the cross of Adelaide and Windermere streets, it serves good fast food and drinks, I tried fish and chips and Guinness beer zero and they were fantastic.
The design has the 80s style and the vibes are really warm and relaxing.
There are also a lot of TV screens to watch matches for different sports
The stuff are friendly and the service is amazing.
It is great place particularly for the weekend after a tough week
I had the shepherds pie with a Caesar salad. The shepherds pie had a thinner layer of meat than I would have liked but overall was very tasty. I was, however, hungry after dinner still, so perhaps I should have opted for fries on the side.
Updated with another 5 star review.
I brought my small kids here after a round of mini golf and Adam and the rest of the staff were incredible. Thank you for making our great day even better!
Great atmosphere and some of the cities best wings.
Excellent service, delicious food and great atmosphere! Highly recommend.
Good place for food and drink
WoW! What a find. I had to come to North London on business from Kitchener. These types of pubs are dead in our city. This one tops it and I will be back. Great food, Excellent choice of tap beers. The service is impeccable. Note: expect a pub atmosphere. Its small, but cozy at the same time. I wanted to bring it back home if I could. LOL! My hat is off to the staff and owner. What a great job. What a great place. To all others that view this review, I suggest greatly to attend and enjoy as I did!
Amazing english pub, the york shire prime rib sliders were the best appetizer i’ve ever had.
I was there on St Patrick’s Day so it was very busy and loud. I would go back another time to have a better experience. The server we had was excellent.

Wonderful servers! Will definitely be back! The bartender was honestly the best!
Madison (i believe is her name) is an amazing bartender and waitress. She went above and beyond her services for me and my party. Will definitely come back!!!!
