heard the lady say to coworker she won't serve me, she has been very rude in the past aswell. Not sure what I've done other than order food. She is always snide and rude.

They were missing some ingredients for a standard menu item, which wasn't great. But the staff were friendly.

UPDATE: Thanks to Wendy’s support and the London district manager for responding to my complaint sent via text message and for taking swift action to address my concern. The below issue was discussed over the phone with the district manager and clarified there is no such company policy and this will not happen again in future.

Disappointing and confusing experience

I picked up a SkipTheDishes order from this Wendy’s location and, after completing the pickup, asked if I could place a separate order for myself, just like any other customer.

The staff member refused and said it was “company policy” not to serve delivery drivers. This made no sense to me, as I was not asking for free food, had already completed the pickup, and was ready to pay normally. I’ve ordered my own food while picking up deliveries at other Wendy’s locations without any issue.

If this is a store-level policy to manage delivery flow, it should be explained clearly instead of being stated as a company-wide rule. It also felt like my request may have been misunderstood as asking for free food, which was not the case.

I have completed 3,000+ deliveries and have never asked for or accepted free food anywhere. I take pride in doing my job professionally. So, this interaction felt dismissive and unnecessary, and it affected the rest of my day. Some stores don’t take payment when we order a fountain drink, but I always pay for that too and that’s my policy.

I hope the management provides clarity and ensures customers — including delivery drivers — are treated with basic respect.

I have also written an email to Wendy’s customer care and hope someone will respond with clarification.

Honestly, it was one of those nights. Just finished about a 13hr straight day, then headed straight to Wendy's for some tasty treats. I was so tired that it took me 10min to order from app. The dining area was even closed by the time I finished the order (which I did wrong) 🤣 The staff was exceptionally kind, patient, and hospitable. It is strange to see way less people sitting in Wendy's since I was a kid, but I am happy that there continues to be kind people working in a fasr food place where they experience a lot of challenging situations. Thanks so much team. You made my night!

Best Wendy’s in London my coworker and I enjoy this location and Jarrod is an amazing employee! He’s fast efficient and always super friendly we come here almost every lunch break and I’d say 10/10 service!
