We are new to this place, as we were frantically searching for somewhere new because our old go-to place shut down. After a lot of disappointments, we found Wong’s Gardens and we are so pleased with their food. We’ve had two orders so far and there will definitely be a third!
The eggrolls and wonton soup are delcious…and so is the Lo Mein with beef. The beef mushroom chop suey and the diced chicken with vegetables and almonds are also wonderful. It’s not listed on the menu but the lemon chicken is also good.
It’s difficult to find a good Chinese place in London now, but Wong’s Garden is the exception. Finally a place who knows how to make decent food! Thank you so much Wong’s Garden and we are very much looking forward to our next order with you. Happy Easter! 😁
Always my go to Chinese in London!! Been a customer since 2006 when my mom used to order from you guys! Really, really good food, good prices, and the amount of food you get for the price, no one can beat!!
Before walking in for my take-away order I noticed a sign saying they aren't open for dine-in and only delivery or take-away.
So the partial atmosphere I experienced was great because conveniently right inside the door there was a table where my food was sat with the interact machine right beside it.
The food was great and them being open to alterations make this place one of the best.

Great place to go if you want to have the runs for days, and be served tasteless, overpriced slop. Used to be good, garbage now. Avoid.
We ordered Chinese food for our anniversary dinner. When you go to pick up the food there is a table blocking off entering. It looks as though the are operating a green house and selling plants. The Chinese food was awful. The chicken balls tasted like they were fried in old grease as well as the won tons and shrimp. This place use to be our favourite and has really gone down hill!
Absolutely the most taste and freshness in London period. My wife and I eat there regularly and have for 8 years. Never once have we been disappointed.
My family has been going to Wong’s for over 30 years. We put up with their rude attitude and slow service for all of those years because the food was good. Now, you get half as much food for twice the price. It costs $120 to feed 3 people. The restaurant is disgusting. I read another review that said there was a piece of metal in their chicken ball. I laughed because this also happened to us. We will not be returning, and will be finding a new place for Chinese food.

Food is like getting that downtown Toronto feel so it’s okay, but the cold service dark restaurant even though they only do delivery or take out they can turn more lights on and smile.

My fave is Singapore Beef and Beef Fried Rice .to help soak up that sauce.
The Original owner created a no MSG meal about 30 years ago. A surgeon asked and it became a thing. A big law firm lawyer used to drop in with him and over the years the entire menu became available without. A lot of deliveries to UH. Meds love the food.
This would be considered a reasonably priced spot to order good food. It is Canadianized Chinese food which I prefer. They can mess with the spices if you ask. I know what goes in some of the recipes including the trick with the rice to enhance .the flavour without using MSG. It increases the explosion of spices but not overpowering the taste.
Chicken Balls have always been cooked to have just enough breading to cover but not get in the way of that real piece of chicken.
The present owners, I believe, have owned since 2000 and have been very careful to copy the cooking style of the original owner.
This restaurants clientele has a disproportionately high number of doctors to other takeouts.. A lot of the rich in the North and West part of the city eat Wongs food.
1st time at Wong's.
Lo mein bbq pork 100% on point.
We will certainly be back

A staple in Whitehills for over 50 years Wongs Garden has some of the best Canadian Cantonese food ever. The all-time favorites like chicken balls, fried rice, and egg rolls are done very, very well.
