“Was staying at Rocky Crest Golf Resort on Hamer Bay, Lake Joseph in Muskoka, Ontario, Canada so decided to try Windows Restaurant for Dinner and Breakfast. Windows is operated by Clublink so you should expect friendly attentive service, average decor and above average food. This is how they deliver and they did it solidly again for both dinner and breakfast with the maitre’d/manager Holly overseeing. Our party of 4 was delighted with the view and we chose a delicious Valpolicella from the shorter but well chosen wine list. From the diverse menu with many options and steaks we chose our mains - the Chicken Gnocchi, Pork Wellington, Australian Ribeye and Lamb Chops. It came out quickly and everything was fantastic - each one could have been the signature dish. My Australian Ribeye was a perfect medium rare and I dipped it in the béarnaise. I can’t wait to go back to try the Lamb Chops and Gnocchi. On to dessert, we shared the Caramel Carrot Cheesecake and Maple Crème Brûlée. Check out the pics … Wow!
The breakfast buffet the next morning was well organized, tasteful and hot. Perfect for the start of a hot sunny cottage resort day.
Thanks for the great experiences. See you in two weeks. Chris >”

“I stopped on my way home from work to get a special dinner treat last Thursday night. I ordered one of my favourite meals, which used to be called blush pasta and is now called wild mushroom pasta. Regardless of if you like mushrooms, or not, this is a delicious meal. There are so many things in the pasta, bacon, peppers, mushrooms, onions, all mixed in with this delightful rose sauce. I eat a pretty good amount of food generally, and I can eat off this meal three times. There are so many things in the pasta, I find I can cook a few handfuls of penne at home and expand this into three dinners. Well done Bass Lake! 💚 oh yeah! And it comes with 2 pie sized pieces of tasty bread! Double yum!”

“Crossroads gave us the merriest of Christmas meals. There were eight of us and we had driven a long way to get there on a very foggy evening. The restaraunt was decorated to the nines with tasteful ornaments and floral arranagements everywhere. The table was beautifully set with a crisp white damask table shot over with a scarlet table runner and dotted with softly lit candles. The stemware was also of a seasonal theme and looked like etched icicles on the glass. Very orginal and delicious cocktails. We had ample canapes of gingered/lime crispy shrimp and vegetable spring rolls. The soup, entree and dessert options were amazing. Afterwards we wandered into their garden which was very magical looking what with the snow, the fires they had built and the beautiful Christmas tree. We enjoyed hot mulled cider before our journey home. Honestly one the best dining experiences we have had in ages and we HIGHLY recommend Crossroads for the extreme attention to detail, the wonderful staff and their outstanding food”
“The pizza is REALLY good! We had a Canadian and added hot peppers… the toppings were very generous, the ingredients were great quality, (canned mushrooms, but I actually prefer that on a pizza) and the crust was perfect! We’ll be back ?”

“My fiancé and I came to Chef Henrie Bistro and Cafe for the first time on Valentine’s Day, and we were so impressed! We live in Nobel, so it’s about a 45 minute drive but it was absolutely worth it. Delicious food, fast service, friendly staff. Left feeling stuffed but it was 1000% worth it”
