The onion rings (strips) were soggy and poorly prepared. They were strips of onion squished together. When I tried to eat them, the entire blob of coating and onion pulled apart, making them impossible to eat as a ring. Disappointing texture.

I’ve stopped by the A&W OnRoute Mallorytown several times before, and unfortunately, the quality keeps getting worse. The Chicken Chipotle Wrap I had this time was dry, with barely any sauce, and the chicken didn’t taste fresh at all. The Buddy Burger was also cold and soggy, which was really disappointing. It’s not the first time I’ve experienced this here — consistency and freshness seem to be a real issue. I hope management takes notice and improves the food quality and service soon.

I ordered peri peri chicken burger and it was TOO SALTY like literally I couldn’t taste anything but salt! I had to chug water while chewing on it. Literally the worst order from a&w ever ever!! Salt Sandwich

I would give them 0 - The team of International students are completely unprofessional, very Unhygienic- we ordered for family of 8. They mixed everything in one box- fries, onions rings, burgers its like a big salad. We almost comitteed how unhygienic it was. Unfortunately had to discard of the food. 0000

Horrible customer service. 5 people inside counter talking and laughing. When I finally got their attention, the girl who served us didn't even fill our order. She threw oyr recipt on the counter and.went through a door beside the cash. I had to ask another girl to get our coffee and root beer. I'm glad we didn't order food. Based on the reviews here, the owner hasn't fixed the problem or is part of the problem.

Disappointing experience at this On Route A&W. The self-serve touch screens were frustrating to use, and we couldn’t even get a receipt. From the time we finished ordering to when we finally got our Teen Burger combos, it took 17 minutes.
When we got to the car, we found both drinks were wrong. Inside, the staff seemed more focused on socializing than serving. One girl putting orders together was taking her time restocking, walking slowly and yawning in full view, like she wanted everyone to notice. Meanwhile, the woman bagging food and the girl on fries were chatting, and none of them appeared to be wearing gloves. Another staff member was cleaning and then touching things behind the counter without gloves as well. One guy finally stepped up to the cash, but only after a long delay.
It all felt disorganized, unprofessional, and unhygienic—definitely not the kind of service or cleanliness you’d expect from an A&W.

The place is the worst place I have gone to. The service is horrible, the staff are horrible, no customer service, bad attitude, negativity. I will never eat here again and I will also advise everyone who I know never to come here. Staff are rude and the customer service is horrible.
