But the real star? Scrummie Scones. I’ve had the best scone of my life here.
Scrummie Scones are so good that I’d willingly sit in the middle seat of an airplane just to eat one. They’re so good that I’d get hit by a car if it meant I’d wake up to a fresh scone. I’d lick the floor for a Scrummie Scone. I’d even sacrifice my legs to alligators if it meant I could taste one more.
Moral of the story: get the scone. You’ll understand

Visited 692 Coffee and Bar with a few friends and had a lovely experience. We tried the raspberry scones, pistachio matcha latte, and the hummus veggie plate—everything was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was cozy with a stylish and comfortable seating area, perfect for catching up with friends. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome. A great spot for both coffee lovers and light bites. Highly recommend!

I didn’t want to give this 2-stars. I wanted to like this place, but the coffee is just not it. It tastes bitter or over-roasted. Vibe is solid, this area and Manotick really needs a good coffee spot. But perhaps better beans or a process for *good* coffee. Keep going, confident we will level up the experience!

My husband and I stopped in for coffee after hearing great things about this spot from friends. The coffee shop is really cute and has a great aesthetic — plenty of seating both inside and outside.
We originally ordered a cold brew, but after waiting a few minutes, we were told the machine was empty and needed refilling. The staff wasn’t sure how to refill it and asked if we could order something else. We switched to iced lattes, and since they were a different price, we were offered either a refund or a chocolate chip cookie — we went with the cookie.
After waiting another 10-15 minutes with no coffee in sight, we had to ask about our order. The staff apologized and admitted they had completely forgotten to make our drinks. To make up for it, they gave us a second cookie. The coffee itself was very good, but unfortunately, the cookies were a bit dry and stale.
Overall, the vibe and aesthetic of the shop are lovely, especially being on Manotick Main Street. It’s a cute spot, and perhaps we just got unlucky with the service we received because based on word of mouth and other reviews, the service usually seems to be good
