Had a great Saturday night supper here, the food was amazing, delicious calamari melted in the mouth, the atmosphere was buzzing and staff very delightful and professional. Must admit the lychee martini was one of the best I’ve had, and it packed a punch. They make their own bread and I’d come back for that alone it was so good. There’s a great patio, which will be wonderful when the summer arrives.

First visit to Angelina’s with friends. The decor is modern while being warm and cozy. They have a fully covered outdoor patio that is breathtakingly beautiful and certainly seats more than the small dining room. I believe they also have a separate room that you can reserve for a party but not sure how many it accommodates. The service was friendly and while we arrived before it got busy, we did wait quite awhile for our meals to arrive. Fortunately they brought the table some delicious warm bread and oil/balsamic vinegar… and a refill. Our water glasses were always attended to.The food… all our friends were very pleased with their meals - lamb lollipops, penne and sausage and I had the chicken Parmesan. They were great about substituting the spaghetti for vegetables and those were delicious. The chicken itself was very good, but a bit tough and overdone. My friend and I ordered the cannolis for desert and that is where we were both hugely disappointed. The pastry did not taste like baked buttery pastry but rather like over fried egg rolls. The filling was heavy on the ricotta and VERY gritty. It was not fluffy or smooth. I ate one of my two but had considered stopping half way through it. We did not like them at all. If they don’t bake their own in-house, I would strongly recommend they find another vendor or take it off their menu.We will go back again when it is warmer to try out their patio and their salads, which sound amazing!

My wife and I had an excellent first visit to Angelina. We were sat in the patio area, which, despite the chilly wind, was nice and toasty due to the outdoor heaters. As night fell, the lights turned on and gave the area a magical ambience. The gorgeous white flowers hanging from the ceiling enhanced this impression. The service was prompt and friendly with multiple servers and bussers attending to us. The tomato bruschetta was fresh, tasty and filling. I ordered the lobster ravioli which was creamy and plentiful. My wife ordered the rigatoni de bosco which also had a rich beef flavour. I recommend both.Dessert would have been great but we were simply too stuffed to enjoy another bite. As we departed, every staff member we passed wished us a good night. That may sound like a low bar for an establishment to jump… but most restaurants in Ottawa can’t seem to manage this courtesy unless a tip is involved. We will definitely return in the summer to enjoy the patio again. Thanks for a great date night Angelina!

Nice, upscale Italian restaurant in Manotick /Barrhaven area. We need more of this type of restaurant on this side of the city. I have been here a few times and have never been disappointed. Always particularly impressed with the service. They make you feel you are warmly welcomed.

Always love coming here for a date night or a girls night out. Living in barrhaven and have access to such a gem of a place so close by in Manotick is a real treat! The atmosphere and ambiance is very chic with very comfortable seating and lots of table space. The lighting is dimmer in the evenings so I have seen people needing to use their phone flashlights to read the menu.Food is a bit in the pricier side, personally the only pasta I found worth the $$$ was the lobster ravioli otherwise you can get pasta for the same quality and lower price elsewhere if you want to venture out downtown or further out. Lovely charcuterie board, the calamari is amazing and they give you a big portion. They also give you a bread basket to munch on though some of the servers give you the stink eye when you ask for a second bread basket when you are a table of 4 people (usually only 4-6 pieces of bread). This part of the service could be improved upon. Dinner service is usually a bit slower but they do let you know on the website so we’re usually happy sipping on cocktails and enjoying our appetizers first anyways.Cocktails…amazing! The lychee martini is by far the best I’ve had in the city, and the color violet is my favourite purple drink. I didn’t know they had a Sunday dinner for 4 special so I plan on taking advantage of Sunday nights too!Parking: There are a limited number of spots behind the restaurant otherwise you have to park on the street.

Great spot, great food. It is, however, rather expensive. We can't afford to go here often but have been twice now.

Food was Fantastic, portions were great . A little pricey but that is to be expected in manotick . My biggest complaint is that it was too loud (music was really loud) that cause people having to raise their voice for conversations. I could barely hear my wife and I'm only 40??... apart from that, great experience and I would return .

I came in last night with a party and the bartender charged us 18% gratuity but didn’t tell anyone. We all ended up tipping on top of that because the machine still prompt us. Bartender in back room. Will never come back

Secret lol

no wonder the lasagna was $30, there was half a pound of cheese on it. my friend ordered the al forno, also half a pound of cheese on it. I barely touched my lasagna, the cheese was all you can taste. It took an hour for our food to come too.

Nice atmosphere and great stuff. The food is 1 out of 10. We went to Angelina for Valentine’s Day. Ordered calamari to start and it was very yummy. Then we ordered eggplant parmigiana, Beet salad and Nicola salad for my husband. For the main we took gnocchi and Short Rib.Beet salad was okay, gnocchi were hard and chewy. Short Rib was a huge portion but half of it was fat. We also took pasta for our daughter that she refused to it because they made it with burnt garlic and the taste was awful. Eggplant was bitter and burnt as well. Oh, and my husband’s salad tasted like pure vinegar. At the end of all this, we didn’t even want to try a dessert, paid our 300$ bill and left disappointed. The food is awful in that place. If you are looking for nice experience and yummy food don’t go there. Our Valentine’s Day was ruined.
