Great quality, flavorful dishes. Very lovely staff. They are always busy for a reason. A gem in Manotick.

Small and cozy Thai restaurant in Manotick. Fresh ingredients, hot and reasonable portions for all items I ordered that night except the shrimp rolls. The size of shrimp roll is small compare to the same thing from other Thai restaurants. Should have more rice coming with the curry and the sauce should be a bit thicker with more coconut milk in my opinion.

Great Thai food, very authentic, tastes great, not expensive, we did take out, was great, highly recommended.

At this point I can just pick a random number off the menu and know I'm gonna be eating like a king.

We had a lovely experience dining at Khao Yum for a birthday. We didn’t make a reservation and while the place was small they moved the tables around to accommodate us. The service was quick, food was fresh and delicious and everyone left happy and satisfied. Highly recommend this little spot !

I ordered the Pad Siew, spring rolls and shrimp rice paper rolls. The food was delicious but the value for money on the shrimp paper rolls was not worth it. Only 3 pieces of shrimp in a large roll primarily stuffed veggies and rice. It really felt like I was eating a vegetable rice roll and not a shrimp one.

We have ordered takeout a few times and the food has always been great. Recently we ordered takeout and were very disappointed with the size of our order. Based on the price of 19$ for our dish the container was the size of an iPhone. I have never eaten in the restaurant so maybe the portion size is better but I wanted to share the surprising small size of my dish for those ordering takeout.

Small location with excellent food! I would highly recommend the green curry, it was flavourful and has a nice variety of vegetables (zucchini, eggplant, red peppers). The pad thai is a bit too sweet for my palette, but it was a decent portion.

We had ordered food to pick up just before closing and shortly after placing our order we got word of a fairly serious family emergency. Not only was the restaurant kind and sympathetic to our situation, but they offered to stay open late. When we arrived well after closing, not only were they still there waiting but they were more than generous to our family.

This is a business that not only makes the best authentic Thai food around, but a business that also values family and the human connection. Our family will definitely be returning and we cannot recommend it enough to anyone looking for great food and Manotick or Barrhaven.

Food is alright, expensive for what it is especially when ordering take out. They missed my rice orders and only realized it when I got home, and on multiple occasions the phone just rings until the line disconnects. Should be better.
