Outstanding Experience – Loyal Customer for Over 20 Years!
I’ve been a Bamiyan Kabob customer for over 20 years! I used to visit the Mississauga Dixie Road location every week, then the North York (Keele) location — and ever since the Maple location opened, it has been my go-to spot.
Today (October 6, 2025, around 1:30–2:00 PM), I had another fantastic experience at the Maple branch. The cashier Ana and the cook Uzair provided absolutely excellent customer service. They’ve both been working there for a long time, and every time I see them, it truly makes me happy — they always greet customers with kindness, professionalism, and a smile.
Also, a big shoutout to the gentleman making the naan — he’s been there for years and always does an amazing job. His naan is fresh, soft, and perfect every single time.
These three people — Ana, Uzair, and the naan maker — make the Maple Bamiyan Kabob location feel like home. Their service, friendliness, and consistency are beyond words.

Bamiyan Kabob was fine overall, the food was good, but I’ve tried better Afghan restaurants in the GTA. The dishes could use a bit more flavor to really stand out. The dine-in area also feels a little outdated and could use a refresh. Still, it’s a decent spot for a meal.

This place doesn’t accept credit only cash or debit ??? And they also don’t follow the regular franchise pricing they OVERCHARGE so would not recommend this place they even crossed out the prices on their menu.

They have this Pakistani or Indian girl working up at the front, and she’s extremely rude and has so much attitude, doesn’t know anything about customer service skills at all. Would get rid of her if I were the restaurant owner

I ordered four meals here and one of the kofta kababs was raw inside (see photo). When I told the staff, they didn’t apologize and only offered another kofta. Since I had already eaten raw meat and lost my appetite for kofta, I asked to switch to chicken instead, but they refused and said I could only get kofta (what I ordered). Very disappointing and unsafe experience — I won’t be coming back.
