Haven't had Ajisen in a while so I thought to give them a try again. Sadly was disappointed. Noodles were overcooked and mushy and soup was VERY oily. Service was quite slow considering there were only 2 tables (one of them being my table) when we ordered.

I’m a long time regular customer. Unfortunately these last few visits have been underwhelming. I always order the tender pork ribs with Tom yum base. Last 5 times the tender pork ribs are hard as a rock and dry. I brought it to their attention the first time and the chef changed the ribs to succulent tender ones that I’m used to having. The second time the chef seemed to just added some sauce to the same dry ribs. The rest of the times I gave up and just didn’t eat the dry ribs. I’ve given up on this location. Now i go to the highway 7 location and their tender pork ribs are consistently tender as one should expect. If you see a customer throwing out uneaten meat you should really consider why. I wasn’t originally going to leave a review but I just couldn’t help it anymore.

There is not much of an experience here, small quaint place with Dark Interior and Low Light. Food is Okay! Very Salty Miso Broth.. no Seafood choices except Shrimp, which was mostly crunchy skin. Overall.. 3.5 Star

My family and I always go to this and their Kennedy location. Service is always quick and friendly. Food quality is always consistent. We always order the tender pork ramen and the steak ramen. Soooo good especially in the cold winter months.

I have no idea how this place has the high rating it does. The food was not good at all. Flavours were unsubtle and overdone. The edamame had a beef smell, there was more dough than chicken in the karaage, and the spicy pork ramen had two thin sad pieces, with literally a tablespoon at most of ground pork. I’ve had some great ramen from other chains, but will never come back to this one. There’s so much competition in the area, I don’t understand how it survives! All you high reviewers, have you actually had real ramen?? At least the service was good.

They have a variety of menu items, and you can customize your broth with any menu item. I had the tonkatsu ramen, but the tonkatsu was pretty dry. Recommend the black garlic broth.

Got the vegan bowl and it was not good. It was just rice, spring mix, mayo, and a beyond burger patty split in half. Its nice that they offer vegan options but the execution was awful.

My friend wanted to experience ramen and found out this place. It was close to our office . I can say it was an okay place.
Was starving on my first night in Markham and really wanted some ramen. This place came up on my list and I headed over. The food was really good and came out pretty quickly. The staff was friendly and eager to help.

Their Ebi Fry Ramen set with spicy miso base is so delicious! Great unami flavour, I finished every last bite. Probably the best ramen I've had in Toronto. The service was good as well. Will come again with my friends!
