We always get SPM1. It’s the way to go. The A1 is good as well, but can’t beat the SPM1. Thank you Baben for your delicious sushi

I bought spm1 today. My husband vomited several times. I went to the toilet twice and felt that the food was not very clean. Otherwise, there would be problems for both of us. Bad review.

Ordered the spm9 expecting toro just to get there and the owner telling me he switched out the toro for other things. I was also expecting sweet shrimp sushi but it was replaced with squid without my knowledge. The fish was still frozen in the middle and tasted extremely fishy
I felt that the food was not clean and hygienic enough, and I didn’t wear a mask when cooking it! ! ! It tastes terrible and charges an exorbitant amount of money. There is no discount for cash plus tax, and the service attitude is terrible. It’s not sushi rice at all, and it’s not fresh. In short, it tastes terrible. Don’t come here.

I pass by Baben Sushi during my commute home almost every day and I finally had the opportunity to try it out! I ordered an assorted party tray online and came by after work to pick it up. It's located very discreetly off of the road and shares the space with the bakery. The plaza itself is not very busy, but you may have a hard time getting back to the road.The workers were very nice but I don't think they spoke English fluently - they seemed kind of shy. My order was brought out in a Baben-branded reusable bag and the presentation of the takeout box and the sushi itself was beautiful! It seemed very premium. However, the flavour and variety of the sushi is just OK - it's as expected with the price. They also have some nice purple rice maki rolls which I really liked. I wish they included some of the more classic ones - like spicy salmon rolls or dragon rolls. I wasn't a huge fan of the mango rolls they provided, even though it took up like 1/3 of the box. The fish itself wasn't very fishy which I appreciated. It's a bit better than most AYCE sushi restaurants in terms of quality.Overall 6.5/10. Would probably come again if convenient and had a craving to fill.
