This bakery is not unique in any way. It is placed in J-town but lacks the Japanese commitment to excellence. All the bakery items (we had the cream cornet, curry donut, curry bun, chocolate bun (with the bear)) we ate had the same base, it felt like biting into white bread with custard in it. Custard was great, the bread was not. I strongly urge the bakers to use a different, softer dough for their baked goods and not recycle what they use for their breads. Underwhelming.

I bought a sandwich machine from Japan. This is the only loaf bread fit my machine at Toronto. You can choose the thickness. The quality of bread also number one at this area. Their tofu cheese cake always sold out quickly. You will never regret for their bread and cake.

Great bread and delicious treats, nothing overly sweet. Just right 👍

Buns are very good but a bit pricey.

Their Japanese shokupan is amazing- lovely fluffy texture and the aroma makes you want to eat it before you even get home! The green tea cream filled donuts have so much filling you get some with each bite right until you finish it.
Their green tea mousse and Tira misu cakes are so light-like eating air!!

I have been coming to this bakery for years and absolutely recommend it. Prices are reasonable and they have a great selection of Japanese baked goods. My favorites are the melon bread and matcha frog bun. They are delicious and not too sweet.

Get their lemon and custard donuts, literally the best I've ever had.

Best green tea donuts I’ve ever tried!! Always come back for these! Soo fluffy and super filled with the whipped cream. Green tea is my fave but the lemon and hojicha are good too.

MUST TRY THE SAVOURY BUNS!!!! the flavours are so addicting and very well seasoned. Nothing is dry, or too wet. Just the perfect buns.

The breads are pretty decent here! The chestnut croisant was my favourite! The melon pan is also decent. I feel like their bread can be a bit softer. We tried this egg and nori bun that had chopped up hard boiled egg. The bread was a bit dense which was not our favourite. Have also tried their red bean donut in the past and found it a bit oily. Will come back to try other things though!

The dinner roll and regular bread is very nice and I would give 4.5 stars for them. However, deep fried donuts is very bad. Oil they used for the donut is very old, a bite of donut make me want to throw up. I am surprised that Japanese would make something that greesy. I bought two donuts for $6 and both end up in garbage.
