Such a hidden gem at First Markham Place, they are located in the food court so it’s easy to find. They have a variety of espresso drinks and also they make good matcha. There are also cake slices available for purchase and they make customized cakes that are so cute and packaging is very chic. Definitely try them out if you are in the area.

I saw this place in FMP food court and my second stomach (aka dessert stomach) appeared.

I ordered the grape cake and the pomelo mango mousse cake. Both were light and “not too sweet” (IYKYK).

Will want to try a few more cakes next time

Never tried any kind of cakes better than this place. Small pastry but perfect. They know some kind of magic i guess.

I ordered a jelly cat cake from here, strawberry and cream flavor and it was amazing. Yes the flavor was on the basic end but it was yummy and the look is a 10/10. I ordered two days in advance thinking it might be late notice but they made it work! The lady working there is also very nice.

Checked this place out in First Markham Place as it was ranked pretty well. Actually went to this place to see the 2 competing chinese bbq restos that folks often talk about. The quality of the desserts here is excellent - hands down - no doubt. Selection was ok however I thought the prices were a little high (2 slices almost $15) and I wouldn't say that they were generous in portion size. Definitely a place worth checking out if you are into fancy light pastries. Good luck with parking at this mall - the lots are big but always full!

Nice selection of small cake slices in a food court. Lots of HK flavours but what attracted me was the Basque-style cheesecake, as I love Basque cheesecake and had been craving it.

It was okay, nothing fantastic. It was a little too overbaked for a Basque-style cheesecake but the flavour was all right. It's probably impossible to get the true texture of a Basque cheesecake in single serve pans. It's bound to overbake that way. I would have preferred a slice of cake that has the correct creaminess over the single-serve cute-looking but ultimately not really Basque version I got. My biggest issue, however, was how small it was for the price. I know these cakes can be tricky, but I'm not sure it was good value considering.

The chestnut cake was very nice. A good balance of creamy and light, but still with good chestnut coming through.

I called to order the mango cake which is not in season. Bakers offer me other options and freshly baked for me.

Ordering a cake over the phone was very simple and the worker was very kind! The cake was ready by my pick up time and looked very pretty. All the other cakes in the display also looked amazing! Our taro ube cake was amazing. The chiffon was light and airy, and the whipped cream wasn’t heavy at all. The cake itself wasn’t too sweet and I especially like how there are four layers of cake with less cream (other places put way too much cream). Would definitely come back to try their other flavours!

Lots of people were looking at the cakes, however, I fell to temptation. Nice pistachio and strawberry cake. $9.5 with a discount for cash. Very good service at a busy time.
