i've had butter baker a few times and they don't disappoint ! on my most recent visit we had the lemon merengue soft serve, with a lemon and marshmallow swirl. the lemon tasted like a tangy, fresh sorbet, while the marshmallow had the slightest toasted flavour, making for a well balanced combination. we also got a slice of the winter berries and vanilla cake. i'm always a big fan of the cream on their cakes, and the vanilla chiffon was moist. service can be a little slow sometimes and seating is very minimal, but i think it's still definitely worth coming for the food.

The cafe is super cozy and you are greeted with the aroma of butter and freshly baked goods. There are cookies, cake slices, and various drinks. We had the flavour of the month soft serve (strawberry yogurt) and it tasted great with the freshly made waffle cones. The matcha latte didn’t have a vibrant green colour but was tasty nonetheless. The workers were very kind and helpful. Would stop by if in the area.

We come here just for the ice cream in the mths the flavour entices us. Last mth in December I think was my all time fave...tirimisu! It was so good! And their homemade waffle cones are very nice. Only reason I gave the 4 stars is cause it's very expensive for deserts. Around $7 for one cone. Their cakes look amazing but way out of my price range for desert.
Parking: Sometimes the parking lot is very full.

Honestly the only good thing about this place is their ice cream. Baked items are a bit over priced and cold. Asked the cashier if there was any cookies fresh out of the oven, and she said yeah they’re all baked fresh, I guess I should’ve asked if there was any warm ones or get it warmed up?...

Bought the hazelnut cake. The cake was dry and very embarrassing to bring for a birthday. For the price paid, I expected a fresh high quality cake. I emailed the team to see if they could fix it, but received no response. Incredibly disappointed at this place.

Butter Baker has my favourite cake - the birthday cake! Unfortunately the last 2 times I've ordered it, upon pickup they were both frozen solid. It's a shame to have to serve frozen cake... I would expect that when I pick up a cake, unless it is specifically mentioned that it would be frozen, that I should be able to consume it immediately. Hoping this is something the team addresses for the future.
