Chris and the Cho-Kwok Lat team were kind enough to let us have our bridal shower party at the cafe.
All the guests loved the pastries and raved about the drinks. Everyone seemed to have a raspberry lychee soda at the end.
It was the perfect space to gather and celebrate. Highly recommend the mushroom danish and the sausage one
Thank you Chris for allowing us to host our bridal shower at Cho Kwok Lat!
The cute pastries, cakes, and drinks were a huge hit with all of our guests, and cafe was the perfect size for pur party!
excellent. owner is super friendly, drinks/pastries are unique and delicious, cafe is always clean. i love the bright natural lighting.
The cakes here are absolutely delicious, and the flavors are well-balanced without being too sweet. On top of that, the staff are very friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. Definitely a place worth visiting!
My sister and I went here for our mini date. Cute and cozy spot on Main Street, Markham. We ordered an iced matcha latte, pistachio latte, peach pastry and the mushroom brie. The Mushroom brie was so good! Will definitely come back for it again, and also to try other sweet pastries.
Both pastries and dessert cakes are extraordinarily tasty! I’ll definitely go again. ☺️
Mont Blanc was bland; plates were dirty, tables were dirty, service was slow
Ice coffee was good though.
Their pastries are all incredible. We haven't had a single one that was a miss. Personal favorites are the creme brulee cruffin for the sweet and the tomato and caprese pastry for savoury but truly no bad bites. There is a bit of a rotating menu, and depending on the time of day you go, things do sell out.
We have also tried the cakes and they're good, definitely a visual feast and well thought out components but they are definitely outshone by the pastries.
Such beautiful and tasty pastries.
Lovely service, and coffee was magnificent worth checking it out!!!!!

Loved the mushroom and cheese pastry. Rich truffle flavor, creamy cheese, but not too heavy, with perfectly crispy, flaky layers. Delicious!
I recently had the pleasure of visiting your shop and was truly impressed by both the quality and presentation of your creations.
The Matcha Opera was a standout. delicately layered, rich in matcha flavour, and perfectly balanced without being overly sweet. Paired with a warm cup of green tea, it made for a wonderfully calming and flavorful experience. I also loved the charming green tea chocolate decoration, a delightful and artistic touch that brought a smile to my face.
I also tried the Mon Mont chestnut cake, which was light, smooth, and beautifully infused with the natural flavour of chestnuts. It was elegant, comforting, and truly memorable.
Thank you for creating such a lovely 💕space where every detail from flavour to presentation and feels so thoughtfully crafted. I look forward to returning soon to explore more of your beautiful desserts.❣️
Truly will recommend to my friends and family👍🏽
Desserts are gorgeous and so tasty! This is a fantastic experience
The crème brûlée cruffin is delicious and to die for!!! My mom and younger sister also love it. It baffles me that the custard filling and hardened caramelized top is not extremely sweet but a perfect amount that I could eat dozens. The crunchy, flaky texture of a croissant is what I expect. Cozy atmosphere to sit in.
Flavour combined with price point would be 3.5; desserts/pastries are unique & appealing but the taste does not justify the premium cost imo. Did not get to try their drinks~
