Good food, service was below average.....but something about the 18% pre applied tip on the total amount with HST...didn't sit well with me...totally unacceptable. I wasn't going to make a scene, I'll just just treat it as a lessons learned and go somewhere else next time ...

The reason of 1 star is bad performance from the restaurant manager.
During the dinner, when she came to check if I finish the food. I said take away the side dish, vegetable. I would like to take it away. However, when I nearly finish my dinner, I found that she misunderstood that and throw it away. Finally, I get something like salad back. But she didn't say sorry to me just using some excuse like misunderstood what I say. Next day when I call the restaurant to ask the manager to complain this. Just recognize she is the manager. As a customer, I think I should give some comment for this. However, she interrupt me and keep on giving some excuse like it was misderstood. In addition, she said she is not happy of my complaint and I said another servicer performed better than her. I try to keep the patience to say I just want to give comment, not looking for argue. And I am also not happy that she didn't let me speak, keep on interrupt me with loud voice, which is yelling. She didn't admit her mistake. To be honest, I am angry at that time. I am yelling and screaming. She complain me behave in this way. However, it is all because of her rude and impolite. It is really disappointed to know a manager to serve customer in this way.
Of course, it was side dish. Not something expensive. However, once customer orders lobster or king crab, then she also misunderstand the meaning and threw it away. It will be a big deal.

It’s the first time in this place dine in. We ordered three dozen of Oysters which were very tasty, and the service was excellent.

The manager Melinda needs a lesson in customer service. We had a horrible experience with a rotten oyster, causing my son to instantly spit it out and later threw up in the washroom. We wanted to cancel or change the batch of oysters that we had. Instead of helping us de-escalate this incident, she instead came to us with a lesson on how an oyster should taste like, and saying it was perhaps my son that was allergic to it. We have been here many times and had oysters here, but we are definitely never coming back here again. It is unfortunate that this establishment is run by such incompetent management staff.

Always a classic, always a favorite. The service of this restaurant is amazing and it really doesn't matter who you are. You could come dressed up with a large birthday party or just in casual sweats and ready for some tasty seafood.

Today there are two types of oysters for $1.5…it was Really fresh and tasty…so many different oysters you can choose at this restaurant…. I want to try other varieties of oysters next time

Place was nearly empty with only 2 other tables. I ordered clam linguini for my wife and a lobster roll for myself. Server told me they stopped lunch at 4pm so i asked for the lobster mac and cheese instead. Got my food, finished it, asked about the linguini and he told me i only ordered the one dish. We got the bill and left with my wife hungry. The guy must've been sleep walking
