Dragon Legend is nothing less than an absolute WOW! The service is classical from the moment I walk in. The ambience and decor is like something out of a movie. The food is freshly prepared with the highest quality ingredients, and prepared to perfection. The variety and selection puts all other buffet style Chinese restaurants to shame. Nothing is skimpy or disappointing. The service at the table is impeccable. Finished plates and glasses disappear effortlessly. The desserts and beverages are so very impressive. The whole experience is like being on the most perfectly choreographed and directed movie set ever from the time I walked in to the time I left. Even the bathrooms are spectacular. The entire restaurant is immaculately clean and maintained. I rate Dragon Legend 5 out of 5 mustaches.

The Dragon Legend restaurant owns the whole building and the okay sized parking lot that goes around the building. The entrance to the restaurant is on the side of the building, where the big red Asian looking gate is.

There's the large main sitting area full of tables on the right. On the left of the restaurant, there seems to be more seating area, but it wasn't open. The washrooms are on the left of the entrance area. The sinks are on the outside and the toilets are separated into men's and women's toilets.

The decor is... Unique. Similar to that of Dragon Pearl decor. Has the old ancient feeling. The ceiling in high. The lights are kind of dim in the seating area. The lights in the buffet area is bright. On both of the major walls, there plays two big screens showing a basketball game (Toronto vs. Cleveland).

The buffet area is probably one of the smallest and most compact buffet areas I've ever been to. There are about 3 small islands of hot foods (dim sum, fried food, pizza, Chinese food), 1 major section of desserts, 1 major section of grilled foods, an ice cream & soft serve section, a sushi section, a cold foods/salads/fruits section, a noodle soups section with a robot that cuts noodles into boiling hot water, and the soups section.

The food is definitely better than Mandarin. By a long shot. You go to Mandarin for nostalgia, not for the quality of the food. The food at Dragon Legend was really good... Except the cakes. The cakes were frozen, tasteless, and dry. Don't get the cakes here. Worst mistake.

The servers were prompt with taking the finished plates away. They didn't kick us out when it was time to go. We actually were trying to flag down a server to get the bill cause we went over the time allotted. They seem to have read our minds and got us the bill.

Overall, food quality is very good (except the cakes). There was this specialty soup that comes in its own specialty container that tastes clear and warm. There's Peking Duck. Enough said.

We went for lunch on a Monday right as it opened at 11:30 am. We had a reservation (we were able to call in and book a reservation). Adult prices for lunch on a weekday is $27.99. Senior prices is adult prices minus 20%. The place filled up rather quickly with people, mostly seniors. Was surprised how busy it was on a weekday.

Parking: There seems to be a lot of parking, but it's not a huge parking lot.

I recently visited this Chinese buffet, and it was a huge disappointment. The food was cold and bland, with very few fresh options. Overall, it was a frustrating experience, and I won’t be returning. Definitely not worth the price.

Downside is that sitting time was only 90 minutes for 2. 120 minutes would be more appropriate.

Buffet, very large selection, but unattended salad bar. The rest of the items were good, too many dessert snacks to choose from as well. Very filling. The beancurd dessert was nice as it came with a ginger syrup.

Food items replenished fast enough. Unfortunately, there is no Grilled fish available during lunch. Service is also great.

It's the Dragon Legend!!! It's been around for over ten years and my family still go often to celebrate birthdays and other special occasions. Food is always top notch!! One of the best if not the best Asian buffet restaurant in Scarborough, Richmond Hill, North York and Markham area.

One of the better Chinese Buffet in Toronto. Lots of different varieties. I don't have room to try everything. Everything is relatively good. The crab legs were meaty. The peking duck improved since the last time I tried it. Only comment is the Teppanyaki station. I find most of the meats were over cooked.
The waffle is as crispy. Maybe is the batter.
