Had the roasted eel rice sticky rice and it was so fragrant and savoury. Super tasty dish that would recommend.

We also got a table immediately since it was not busy.

Only issue was the waiting for the food to come. I think our table might’ve gotten forgotten since we were in the back corner of the restaurant. We eventually got this dish after asking a waiter about our order.

My wife and I both chose the “recommended” beef noodle dishes and we were both disappointed. My wife had the beef rib and it was inedible. Both tough and dry. And I had the shank and tendon which was also tough and dry. Mind you both dishes were a soup noodle. When we told our waiter about the food he said he could offer us another rib for my wife. Which she declined as it wouldn’t be any different than what she was already served. He did say he would inform the kitchen about our observations.

Food is small portion and not very good. Price is quite expensive for the portion.

Great food, I got the 3 cup chicken here. It was tender, juicy and succulent. The da-a noodle, minced pork rice were also flavourful too.
Great service, and ambience, the waiter was attentive too.
I will definitely come back here!

Well, this is a very generous rating. Let me explain.

Before coming here my friend & I were super excited. We anticipated great meal & cozy atmosphere. Somehow it was very popular on the Chinese website. The first time we came they closed so we went to a fish restaurant near by (which on retrospect it’s a first warning sign) The second time was right on the holiday. It was the time the door was open then closed itself on the same day.

Service was as equally bad as the food. We ordered quite a bit for 2 (6 dishes) The first thing I noticed was the small portion. The second was the taste and the last was staff untrained mannerisms. They had this strange, unprofessional attitude and didn’t give a direct responses. One male staff just laughed when we asked, why we need to pay for tea if we are not 60 years old?!!

I mean what policy is that! And what if I’m 60 yo woman looking young!!!! I think this is just one of the made up rules of this franchise. He was kinda ignoring us and just walking around doing absolutely nothing. There was some older male server who took his job a bit more serious by coming to our table asking if we needed anything. However he forgot to bring what I asked. For the most part, staff were wiping and sweeping & mobbing the floor the whole time (like an hour) in one specific corner around the entrance. No one actually attended customers appropriately.

About the food!!! This is the part which made me start this review. They didn’t taste good or bad, just bland. Nothing specific or memorable about all ordered dishes. I took one bite of each and tmr friend was hungry, so he ate more. He ended up having food poisoning and diarrhea for one week. His holiday was ruined.

That’s why I said in the beginning I was being generous in my rating. The setting of this restaurant is cute, though. Therefore I had decided to check out. But cuteness doesnt get it far.

Avoid this restaurant at all cost!

Great Taiwanese restaurant. A much needed break from the typical Chinese food in the area where they drown it in oil and spices.

The eel rice is rich and they nailed the texure. The bone soup is light and flavourful. The 3 cup chicken and omelette are amongst the greatest hits and can never go wrong. Best Twain restaurant in the area.

The staff at this place were really friendly which made the experience pleasant. Unfortunately the food itself was a bit disappointing. Aside from the fish appetizer and the bubble tea, nothing else that we ordered on the menu really stood out and was a bit bland. That said, the drive-thru bubble tea is pretty neat. Not sure if I will be dining in again but making I may use the drive-thru the next time I am in the area.

It is a Taiwanese restaurant, they offer most of the popular Taiwanese dishes and bubble tea. However, the food doesn't taste 100% authentic in comparing to the food in Taiwan, to me I would say it copied around 70% from original.

Very horrible service with 2 staff told me to head to a table yet another staff says it’s reserved. There’s seems to be no communication between each staff members. As for getting a menu seem like we had to give a signal to get one then when to place an order all servers seem to be distracted or too busy talking with each other. I will definitely not recommend this place to anyone.

A nice establishment for Taiwanese cuisine. The restaurant is well maintained, hygenic, and well set.
The menu has a great variety of choices, including business lunch combos, winterlicious, and more.
Food is nicely cooked and presented.
Staff is friendly and patient, especially when you have questions on the menu.
They served with a pleasant attitude.
The price is average and the location is quite convenient with nearby parking.
