We saw all the hype on YT and IG about this place, and given the high ratings on Google, decided to give it a go. To be completely honest, these were the saddest looking dumplings I’ve ever had.
The dumplings were fried to death in shallow oil in a pan, and tasted mostly of dough and grease (look at the photos lol). For the same price, you can get a big bag of dumplings from T&T and cook it the same way at home.
When we asked the owner if we received the wrong item or not (they legit looked deep fried), and questioned the “pan fried-style” they advertised, the male owner became rude and defensive towards us. We took a picture of their stall since we wanted to leave an honest Google review, so when he saw that we took photos, he became extremely hostile and threatening. He followed my partner into the main food hall, shouting in Mandarin as he went.
Needless to say, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, not even a hungry homeless person. Go somewhere else.

I really enjoyed this shop I found by smell in Pacific Mall! The man was running the shop, rolling out wrappers and folding dumplings all on his own. He was so nice, smiled a lot and we got by with my limited Mandarin and his limited English lol.
The dumplings are great if you like chunkier meat texture (not minced/pounded), and thicker, chewy dough. That's my preference anyway! If you like thin, delicate dough without much bite, this probably isn't the place for you. Got the pork and cabbage boiled dumplings and they were delicious.

Really hit the spot! It was tricky to find - so it felt like I accomplished a sidequest! Owner is so kind. I took the beef and celery pan fried dumplings. Will definitely come back :D 8$. Can't go wrong !

I was surprised this place didn’t have more people waiting when we arrived! Excellent dumplings! The man who helped us was super nice and friendly. We ordered the boiled pork, shrimp and chive dumplings, the pork and cabbage dumplings and the fried pork and shrimp dumplings. The man said they were be ready in 10 minutes. Made them fresh to order and you could tell. Everything was really hot and fresh. I preferred the boiled dumplings but both were really delicious. I could have eaten so many more. If you are in Pacific Mall, I recommend stopping here for some dumplings. You won’t be disappointed.
I ordered the pan fried shrimp dumplings (B1). Super crispy, fried to perfection. Could use some more filling but otherwise flavour is all there and tastes super fresh, made to order. I recommend adding the hot chilli oil, soy sauce, and vinegar. Gentleman who works there is super sweet and I’ll always come back here when I’m at Pmall!
