Eggsmart

I visited Eggsmart today for breakfast and it was such a great experience! The food arrived hot, tasted amazing, and was exactly what I expected. The portions were also very generous.

Most importantly, the server was incredibly friendly and attentive. They remembered everything we asked for, checked in with us, and happily accommodated all our needs without any hesitation.

Horrible experience they were closing up the shop because we got there an hour before I closed and they kept literally forgetting everything. I got a smash burger. They didn’t even put the onions in the smash burger. I have to go up to the front about five times because our server was not Even looking at us and after we even had asked her she just forgot again. It was absolutely crazy and then she took forever to come bring us our bill to pay like the whole experience was horrible. Everyone’s food was bad and the service was even more bad.

Love the food and the service! The staff and owner are always so nice and attentive. Breakfast and brunch here are the best, so we make it a weekend tradition—Saturday or Sunday, every week!

They are so nice here! They gave me a free fruit plate for my birthday, and were beyond kind the entire time. Ambiance is nice, and food is good!!!

The food was not enough, but it was tasty. However, their service was bad. Right after seating, they were pushing for an order. The food was served fast, but they never came to check. Even if I made eye contact, they pretended not to see me. I had to go to their area and ask for a to-go box and the bill. I won't visit again.

Okay, This will be a tough review. I do want to see this establishment succeed. But...

CONS:
-I had to give the food a 1 star simply because I never even received my food since the wait literally took forever. I waited for about 40 minutes after ordering, before just giving up and leaving all together without even eating my breakfast!
-There were several employees yelling or scrambling around the kitchen, it seemed very chaotic and as customer's I would say we definitely felt that feeling as well.
-Turns out we were not the only ones leaving because the food took too long, so seeing other customer's leaving was pretty discouraging while waiting for our order to be served. It was pretty clear my table was not going to get the food anytime soon since a few of the tables that were seated before me still haven't gotten their food either.

PROS:
-The servers were very enthusiastic and polite.
-The food smelled great (lol).
-The place was clean and was seated pretty quickly.
-Lots of parking and the store is very easy to find.

Like I said, it's some pretty harsh criticism, but I do believe with the right systems and training in place, it will be an exceptional establishment. I do hope for the best and hopefully be able to visit again in the near future to see the improvements.

Edit: nothing was done after my review, so I must say, this is a horrible establishment. Avoid at all costs, there are plenty of other options nearby, if you come here...you are definitely wasting your money. You've been warned...

No comments on the service.

Was seated promptly and our order was taken, however after the food arrived, no sight of the server. No check up - no bill to the table nothing. We had to go up to pay & there was no apology or any conversation either. Just handed over the payment machine, meaning they knew we were ready to pay.

I’m pretty sure it was racism bc the other table with people of colour had to go up to pay as well - but the two white men had their bill brought to them. We were seated right behind them and it was evident we were done as well.

Food was good, but definitely won’t be coming back for this level of disrespectful service.

Food was good, service wasn’t. Server had her family there, entertaining them and was taking forever to attend to the guests. Been to several locations and never spent more than half hour in one, this was over 1.5 hrs. Coffee stayed empty. Frustrating as it made me late for the rest of my work day.

We had an excellent breakfast experience here! Tried the Big Breakfast, French Bennie, and Eggs Benedict — all delicious. What really stood out was how easy it was to replace the meat with halal options, and they did so without adding any exorbitant charges. It’s rare to find a place that’s both accommodating and consistent with quality. Great service, great food, and definitely worth coming back for!
