Frederick’s has really gone downhill. The food used to be great, but now it’s bland and poorly made. I ordered takeout recently, and not only was the food bad, but the customer service was also rude and unhelpful. For $65, the food should have at least been decent. Definitely not worth the price or the hassle anymore.

I ordered from Federick today for the first time since 2021 and was really looking forward to the meal. Unfortunately, when I got home and lifted the bag from the car, it was leaking everywhere due to a tear and an overflowing container. To make it worse, the food itself was disappointing—I’d give it a 2/5. Overall, a very disappointing experience. I probably won’t be coming back.

I have went to this place for years, and get the chill chicken every time. Today I ordered the same for my lunch and received the most disgusting pile of fat and grit...not even edible..nothing chicken about it. This has to be the cheapest/lowest grade chicken you have chosen to serve your customers. Never going back. You lost a weekly customer today. Hope it was worth whatever you saved on not buying quality meat for your dishes.

Visiting after several years. Food is decent. Definately no longer one of the best. Hot and sour soup was very good. Chicken pakoras were on the milder side, but happy to see they were mostly chicken and not all dough. Manchurian fried rice tasted great but was lukewarm. Chilli chicken was hot and good, but not mind blowing. Service is good. Some people make a mess while eating and made the floors dirty. Staff cleaned it up after they left however.

I was in the area and was going to try either Fredericks or Hakka Legend and ended up coming here. (the two juggernauts in terms of Hakka)
When I arrived, there were 2-3 occupied tables.
Ordered 3 dishes - green beans, chili chicken and Manchurian fried rice., The green bean and chili chicken came out about 10 minutes after I ordered. The chili chicken came out cold - I am not sure why it was cold, while the green bean was hot.
I am guessing 1) order they gave me was a cancelled order from other table/take out order and I was the unlucky individual that got the reject.
Talked to the server and Chef Mike (microwave) took a stab at it afterwards - (definitely was reheated).
The Manchurian fried rice came probably in the 20-30 min mark after we finished 70% of our meal. The rice was very soggy - I am guessing they ran out of day-old rice since it was like eating paste.
I won't be coming back - there are better Hakka alternatives in the area that deserve your money.
Frederick is recommended a lot online, but it's true that they are just riding off their brand name nowadays as the quality has definitely taken a huge dive in the recent years.

Ordered today veg Manchurian noodles. Totally disappointed with this as no Manchurian neither veggies...they simply provided different noodles,simple, tasteless, with a handful of veggies.. not recommend ever . Don't waste your money.
