This was my first visit to Falco’s. I was a little disappointed. The service was good and my lasagna was fine but my wife ordered the penne pasta. On the menu it stated that it was “hand made” penne pasta with red sauce. Upon taking the first few bites, it was evident that it was not handmade. In my opinion, if a restaurant states “hand made” pasta on the menu then they should stand by their word or at least inform the customer that it’s not “hand made” when they order. Had we known this upon ordering then we would have ordered something different. Service and atmosphere were fine.
What a treat - from the food to the lovely people who work there. Excellent!
We were at this place last Friday for dinner. The place is easy to access and has a very rustic appeal to it, it felt as if we were back in Europe. The food options are good similar to other Italian restaurants. We enjoyed the food, vibe and the service. It is pricey, I must say.
Portion is extremely small and tasteless. Our pastas were served without cheese and pepper to follow. Overall not a good experience and definitely not going back.
The Sofia Mia pizza is incredible
We had a wonderful experience during our first visit to Folco's. The food was delicious — fresh, flavorful, and comforting, just like you'd hope from a good Italian spot. But what really made the evening special was the ambience and the service. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxed night out. And the staff? Absolutely fantastic. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate — they made us feel right at home. Can’t wait to go back!
Don’t go there if its like 8:20, they will let you leave . They will say the chef turn off the hot water basically no more pasta, sold out pizza etc.
How can you be open until 10:30 pm if you dont serve food at 8:20 pm
The ambiance is pleasant. Great place for a nice quiet meal.
Staff was friendly and tended to us as needed.
The most important thing .... The food was excellent. The portions are generous and came out hot.
I loved the pasta, the texture was just right. I did feel the pizza dough was a too thick, and that the batter on the fried appetiser platter was served soggy. But otherwise taste was good all around.
Best meatballs ever!!

We had take out. Some of the meals were great. Some were just ok. The wild mushroom ravioli and pollo parmigiana were great. They had nice flavours. The pizza and sea food platter were so so. We will definitely dine in in the future and see how that goes.
The salmon spaghetti(forgot the menu name) which I think was overly oily, but the salmon and flavor was really good. The Ravioli Madalina had the same issue for me too, oily. But waitress said it’s good for dipping bread. Considering they offer olive oil with appetizer bread, guess maybe it is the Italian style. I do love the wild mushroom ravioli as I like truffle flavor, and enjoyed dipping sauce with bread. Lamb Chop was amazingly seared , love too. One more word, the freshly baked bread is perfect. Highly recommended. If don’t like too much oil, probably should request when placing order.
Gotta check this place out in Markahm. Food is absolutely 💯 delish. Staff and owners are equally as good. Com on down.
Tried this place for the first time. Food was pretty good. Service was also okay. I tried the cheese wheel pasta and personally it wasn’t my favourite. However the texture of the pasta was interesting. The atmosphere was also nice.
Very disappointing.
The veal piccata looked like it was prepared and plated in a high school cafeteria. Completely bland and unelegant. For this dish, you should be able to cut the veal cutlets with a fork. We needed a steak knife. It had only 3 capers.
Very sparse on real shaved parmesan in salads. The table bread could have been a Loblaws baguette cut up vs. in-house made + baked authentic Italian bread. No bread refills. The butter was in individual Gay Lea sealed cups vs. chilled butter balls or open pats. Again, unelegant. Its basically the Duchess, but with Italian food. And we love the Duchess. Main Street Greek is way more authentic Greek than Folco's is authentic Italian.
