good experience dining
This spot is excellent! Convenient pricing, considerable portions and the employees are regularly super friendly.
Great service and delicious food!
Great service and even better meals. I highly recommend eating here when you have the chance.
Very good price was a little high for extras
This spot gives awesome service as well as delightful meals. One of my favourite places ever. The food arrived quickly and the rates are economical. Highly recommended.
Would absolutely recommend trying out this place. Fantastic mood, yummy food, fantastic customer service. Highly recommended.
The service is constantly rapid, great vibes, helpful staff. I will visit here again when I get in town.
Hal has promised to return once the Covid restrictions are lifted. He will offer service to the table with single served dishes instead of all you can eat buffet. Working as a Waitress here was always wonderful.
I admire this venue very much. It has a very nice feeling. The food is superb. the service is effective and the stuff is polite. The price is reasonable. deeply recommend.

Excellent food!
Did what other people had done yesterday- by lining up in car to wait for free pizza and souvenirs generously given out by Frankie’s on closing day. Did what I thought Canadians would do -by going around the block to line up at the end of big line and waited for my turn. After all ,my family has grew up with this restaurant with fond memories. It must have been a strong reason for me to get into this big lineup. We finally got the cute souvenirs and brought closure to decades of memories. However gone along yesterday were some basic Canadian values that I had been proud of. Forced to drive up over curb on right to avoid being hit by a white SUV driven by a brown man on my left who cut into the line in front of me.Then had to honk at another car which had gotten very close to my car to try to cut into the line, prompting a round of profanities by the “Karen” passenger. To be taken advantage of by these people who felt entitled to cut into lines did not look well on Torontonians. Where do these people and their mannerisms come from?
Frankie's was a local institution. Sadly, after 25 years they pulled the plug. Another Covid-19 casualty.
Absolutely delightful place for a hearty lunch. Really scrumptious and yet affordable authentic dishes. The service is very pleasant. You get your meal served on a real plate with real metal cutlery, and even water comes in a thin-wall glassware.I truly enjoyed my veal parmigiana salad special. It wasn't just a quickly thrown-together dish of iceberg lettuce with a side of veal. No, it was actually a dish worthy of a home-made meal. Lettuce was nicely amended by rapini, and roasted sweet pepper, freshly sliced slivers of onion, and all covered by a homemade balsamic vinegar dressing. Then the lady who served us topped it off with freshly ground black pepper. Veal parmigiana itself was perfect. Fresh off the pan, crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and topped with really good homemade sauce. All this for like ten bucks (before tax)! Awesome, simply awesome!
We've been a few times so far. Today we went and were happy to find in the weekend the offer a brunch! So. Much. Variety. Pasta. Salad. Fruit. Eggs. Bacon. Ice cream. Roast beef. Seafood. Only 4☆ because I find it a little expensive.
