Hal has promised to return once the Covid restrictions are lifted. He will offer service to the table with single served dishes instead of all you can eat buffet. Working as a Waitress here was always wonderful.
Did what other people had done yesterday- by lining up in car to wait for free pizza and souvenirs generously given out by Frankie’s on closing day. Did what I thought Canadians would do -by going around the block to line up at the end of big line and waited for my turn. After all ,my family has grew up with this restaurant with fond memories.It must have been a strong reason for me to get into this big lineup. Absolutely delightful place for a hearty lunch. Really scrumptious and yet affordable authentic dishes.The service is very pleasant. You get your meal served on a real plate with real metal cutlery, and even water comes in a thin-wall glassware.I truly enjoyed my veal parmigiana salad special.
