So glad I discovered Fu Kee Bao Dim! They offer a huge variety of dim sum, baos, dumplings, and Chinese dishes that make life so much easier. Everything is frozen and ready to steam, no need to defrost! The location closest to me is right across from Markville Mall. The lady there is super friendly and helpful, she took the time to introduce different dim sum options and explain how to properly steam them. My top favourites are the Cream Custard Bun, Har Gow, and Siu Mai, highly recommended! Perfect for quick, tasty meals at home.

The best thing is that all these dim sum and food items are kept in freezer but mostly there is no need to thaw. One simple way to steam these dim sum and food items is to use a simple rice cooker that comes with a steamer basket. Don't forget to get the steamer paper from the store or otherwise easily from many other places. Very simple, straight forward, and easy to follow instructions! Large varieties and many to choose options. Shrimp dumplings, pork and shrimp dumplings, beef dumplings, BBQ pork buns, and chicken feet, just to name several. The prices are reasonable and compatible with those at other stores and supermarkets. Other food items are also very easy to prepare. Mostly just steam for twenty or thirty minutes! Enjoy an authentic Chinese dinner even if you are not a chef nor even a good cook. Minced Pork & Salted Vegetable, Baby Cuttlefish With Curry sauce, and Curry Beef Brisket, just to name a few. For anyone with a busy schedule, these food items save you not only time but also money. Anyone will enjoy the food items alone, with your friends or family and have a wonderful Chinese dinner time!

giving 1-star experience because of your rude cashier. i usually buy here when i pass by the area but earlier i wanted to pay using my wealthsimple debit card and your cashier wouldn't allow me and insisted that they only accept canadian debit card, and gave me an angry stare.
first of all. what i have is a debit card. second. wealthsimple is a canadian company. third and most importantly. it's very upsetting for receiving an angry stare and tone despite i calmly explained to her that it's a debit card from canada.
and why cant you just configure your POS to not accept credit card in the first place..
your staff needs to be educated with proper customer service...

Good portions. I like their siu mai and chicken feet so far. My kids liked the egg rice noodle but not worth the price imo. We just tried the soup dumplings (xiao lung bao) and that was not good. Too much ginger taste , no one in the fam liked that. The mini packs from costco taste better lol

Unfriendly staff. They feel irritated when asking about ingredients. They will tell you not to buy if you are worry !! Stop buying there for a while. Would rather go to another store that a bit far with friendly staff. Went back today and regretted. This time they refused to accept my money just because my $20 bill missing a corner. This place is too arrogant.

You probably heard about Fu Kee Bao Dim from just about everyone around you (family, coworkers, Instagram...) LOL. The hype is real. It has pretty much every frozen dim sum, soups, prepped meals, desserts you could imagine.
One of my family's favourite go-to item is the 豬腳薑 aka pig feet in vinegar ginger - available all year round, they make it really well, and it is amazing to eat during winter to stay warm. I usually go for their ready made dessert like mango sage with coconut milk, purple glutenous rice with coconut milk, and my all-time favourite, osmanthus jelly!
I recommend bringing your own cooler bag with ice packs to keep your items cold while travelling home.

Came here specifically for the XLB soup dumplings. It is $12.99 for a bag, the bag doesn't list the weight or amount, I bought 2 bags and one had 31 and another had 30.
I followed their cooking instructions (5 mins in steamer, take out for 2 mins, and steam for another 6 min). it turned out super mushy, soft, and all the soup had leaked out. Maybe I did something wrong and need to cook it differently next time, but right now this is way worse than the XLB you can get from walmart.

I recently visited this shop and had a very poor experience with the staff. The staff member who assisted me was rude, throwing the products on the desk in a rough manner.
Additionally, she calculated the total amount incorrectly and then blamed the mistake on me, the customer. This is unacceptable behavior and I am very disappointed with the level of service. I would not recommend this shop to others based on this experience.
