I’ve been buying frozen dim sum from them for many years — starting at their Scarborough location, then the one near First Markham Place, Richmond Hill, and now Unionville. But I recently noticed they have a troubling practice: they round up charges even when customers pay by debit card. That kind of rounding isn’t allowed, and while the extra amount may seem small, it adds up over time. More importantly, it’s a matter of principle. Also, they don't give you the receipt...
My sister brought me here because she thought I'd like it. I always get to try new places whenever I visit.
The person at the cash was friendly. I like the cooler bag you get when you buy a lot of stuff. I'm from Ottawa and we don't have great dim sum here, so I loaded up a cooler with goodies.
Prices are good and the store is bright and organized. I haven't tried the ready made meals, but everything else was as I expected...
