老山西刀削面 Shanxi Noodles（原福味坊）

Hidden quite well. Adventure to walk to at 7 pm. But great noodles and food.

Its good, both soup and dry versions are great. Either way you win, the sides dishes are also quite nice. While it isn't the best knife cut noodles I've ever eaten it still tastes good.

A definite hidden gem. In fact, it’s actually a hidden noodle spot.

Behind a commercial building and the only thing showing it’s there is a tiny sign sticking out above the included sketchy door and the sign with small writing in Chinese characters showing the name of the spot.

But, can really see why the noodle spot has such high ratings. The noodles have such a great bounce and bite to it. The beef is tender and the wontons are plump.

Service was great. The girl tended to all our needs and my daughter and I were very happy with the experience.

Parking is in abundance at dinner time and weekends since it’s a commercial building so people have already gone home. Not sure how it is during the day.

I am definitely saving this spot as a favourite and will be returning!

My friend calls this place a hidden gem. (It’s literally hidden!! Inside an office building! But turn to the back and there’s an other entrance and parking!) We got the tomato and egg slice noodles and we all can agree that it’s amazing!! It’s sweet and the noodles are well made! Slice noodles refill are free!! We had 3 refills in total!

The service here is amazing, we were the only customers in store at first but despite that it didn’t feel too awkward due to the friendly staff! The food arrives fast and tastes fresh!

The atmosphere is very quiet and calm, no music or whatsoever. If you hold a conversation in here it will definitely be heard. There are only about 9 tables. But the friendly staff make up for it!! I feel like this is more of an eat fast, refill on noodles and then leave place. But overall I love the food!

I ordered the beef noodle soup & fried chicken. It came out very quick & the restaurant was quiet. I always love a hidden restaurant and this was definitely hidden!

The food tasted authentic to Asia and SOO filling. They had free refills on the noodles as well. FYI noodles are hand pulled 😍

I thought food was pretty good, especially noodles like the beef noodle soup and slice pork soup! Meatballs weren’t my favourite but wontons were good. Pretty small space and not too many seats but we went during a pretty decent time where it wasn’t too packed
