We came here for a banquet after a funeral. The food was fine. We were pretty much the only diners here. I don’t know if it was the time (late afternoon/early evening) or if they booked us and another party afterwards so they kept the main dining area closed.
As a result of this, the atmosphere was muted (on account of the mourning). Probably more lively any other time.

We went for dim sum today and the food was good and the service was excellent. Unlike other dim sum restaurants that have raised their prices with the tax break, they have not. They still have their one price dim sum $5.25 (s,m,l) before 11am every day of the week. The item that I enjoyed the most was their pineapple BBQ pork bun. The bread was pillowy, the topping crispy and the pork was tasty. The shrimp in the cheung fun (rice roll) were large and crispy and the beef version was very tasty too. They do add a tip of 12% to the bill but we would have tipped that anyway if not more.

The foods are average. No service at all but implemented 12% tips. Every time we asked a staff to help, we have to ask at least 2 times. The man in suit with super bad attitude telling us it is mandatory to give the tips and asked us to not come again. Much more better choices outside, will never come again. And will tell all my friends and family not to come.

Recently, we have launched a set of tea snacks. The plan is good. It may be a set meal, but two or three items are not very hot and need to be improved.
Worst food being serviced. Food court cooks better. No wonder only got 4 tables for the night and 1 waiter...which is the captain or manager. Food are so salty that you will triple your blood pressure after eating there. Over priced n badly prepared. Food not fresh as no customers. Stay away.

Last night I attended an online dinner party held by a world-famous Chinese talent. There were about 450 guests, and the seats were packed. Many are vying to buy his latest book, queuing up to get autographs and take photos with him. The atmosphere is very lively and relaxed. The talented people talked and laughed happily, interacted closely with the guests, and mixed together very harmoniously. The host also knows how to create an atmosphere, and there is no silence. After playing for 5 hours, I came back with a lot of fun.
This is my first time to come to this restaurant located in First Markham Place. The food is beyond my expectations. I give it five stars! Worthy of praise! The service is also good, give it four stars. Of course I give five stars for the atmosphere!
So why do I only give it three stars overall? The main reason has nothing to do with the restaurant and everything to do with the event organizer. First, the reservation was not done properly. The booking form was poorly designed and I almost couldn't sit at the same table as my family and friends. Those present also asked guests to accommodate their seating arrangements and change seats with other guests. Second, the on-site seating arrangement was chaotic. There is a list on the stage, but that list is not the latest. Some guests received emails notifying them which stage to sit on, but they were not listed on the stage. Causing on-the-spot chaos. Third, the space between the stages is very tight, making it difficult to move. Looking at other people's photos in the past, I usually didn't have that many stations. But this time there were many more guests than expected, so a lot more tables were added. This was a budget error on the part of the organizers and they should have found a larger restaurant. Fourth, the 8-seat stage was crowded with 11 people. It was so crowded and uncomfortable that even going to the bathroom took a long time. Everyone had to get up and give way. Fifth, the number of people per table has increased, and each dish is not only not larger in size, but also smaller in size than other dinners. It's delicious, but the plate is too small. Everyone can finish the meal after just one or two bites per plate. I don't have much appetite and I only eat half full. One generous guest half-jokingly shouted "backwater", eliciting bursts of laughter. Sixth, the dishes are affordable, and the ingredients used are not expensive, so the cost is not high. At this price, many people will think that the price/performance ratio is low. But this is a matter of opinion and depends on how much one is willing to pay for delicious food.
Fortunately, the atmosphere was good, the food was delicious, and everyone was in a good mood, so they didn't care much about these shortcomings.
I heard that there is a set meal for morning tea (8 dim sums for 30 bucks). Although the dim sum chef is not the dinner chef, but seeing the skill of the dinner chef, it should be worth watching the gestures of the dessert chef.
