Good food quality for a good price. They add rice and soup to your main dish takeout order. The eggplant grouper is actually grouper and not basa fillet. Eating here you will save about $4 - $5 bucks vs. many other similar HK cafe restaurants. Only downer is that they only take cash. Will return to eat here because of the food quality & lower prices.
Although it’s a 30-minute drive, it’s absolutely worth it. The place isn’t fancy in decor, but it serves truly authentic Chinese food that brings back traditional flavors. Most of the customers are families from the local community — grandparents, uncles, aunties — gathering, celebrating, or picking up takeout. It feels warm and genuine. Highly recommend the Guilin rice noodles, chicken dishes, and the steamed fish with loofah — all flavorful and perfectly cooked....

Unfortunately, the server entered a tip amount in their own at checkout, which left a poor impression on the customer. Tip culture in Canada is already a controversial topic, and some restaurant owners are still too aggressive — essentially forcing customers to pay an extra amount for basic service. This is unacceptable.
