0 star for service. Rude behaviour by attendant.
$38 for 2 piece halibut and they limit you on tartar sauce per pice of fish. Will definitely not come back
Stopped by Halibut House Fish & Chips and had an awesome experience! I ordered their famous halibut with poutine and coleslaw, and everything was spot on. The fish was crispy on the outside, tender inside, and paired perfectly with their tangy tartar sauce. honestly, one of the best I’ve had. The poutine was loaded and satisfying, and the coleslaw added a nice fresh crunch to the plate.
Portions were huge, so definitely come hungry! I had a refreshing Fuze tea and some crisp, ice-cold water on the side, which hit the spot.
Service was super fast, and the place was not busy at all, with lots of seating and cozy booths to choose from. Plus, plenty of parking made getting in and out super easy.
If you're craving a solid, satisfying seafood meal with quick service and a relaxed atmosphere, this spot is definitely worth a visit!
10/10 would recommend :)
Came for breakfast with my family. The server never checked on us. She never topped off the coffee and never gave us cutlery. The next table had a bunch of cutlery and wasn't cleaned.
What made it worse was when we paid. ( we were gona tip cash) but she asked us if we were gona pay tip by card or cash.....
ASKING FOR TIP AND PRESSURING US TO TIP????? I DON'T THINK THAT ISNPROPER ETIQUETTE AT ALL.... WE SHOULD NOT HAVE TIPPED BECAUSE SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE
Good food, clean restaurant, food came out fast, staff we decent but after asking for extra tarter sauce I was told it would be a 25 cents charge per packet. I think that is ridiculous
Had to ask for the bill twice.
I was quite annoyed with them adding the tip to the bill.
It was not an amount that I would have left on this occasion.
They’ve really gone down hill with quality of food and service
Everything is good - always in this location!!

The restaurant very welcoming, very clean the staff were very friendly. The take out timing wasn’t a long wait approximately 10 mins the fish was fresh and the fries taste nice and crispy the way I like. But I can’t complain this fish and chips restaurant is great I think I found myself a good fish&chip place in Markham… I recommend it to those who loves fish and chip☺️☺️
Tina is always very friendly and the food is always on point!

I recently visited this location for a breakfast take out order. Woman who took my order was neither friendly, engaging nor inviting. She acknowledged me in a cold and indifferent manner. When my order was ready, she didn't even have the courtesy of bringing it to me. Was it because I was not a sit down guest?
I had to approach the front counter. Place was not busy at the time. Sandwich was over salted. Not impressed with their customer service or lack thereof. No plans of ever returning.
Went their last Mi day for their Haddock special. Regular price for Haddock and chips is $15.95 and you can upgrade to a salad for another $2. OnSubday and Monday, they offer a special for $12.95. So, we went and upgraded with a salad assuming that they would add $2. Instead they told us that we had to pay the regular price + $2. Brutal way to treat regular customers. We won’t be returning
Nice spot for an inexpensive brunch.
Chicken fingers n fries were great.
Food was good. Was very surprised a big sit in fish and chips restaurant had No house tartar sauce and no lemon. Service was bad once they brought the food they never came back to the table not once to see if everything was okay.
