Both our soups came in generous portions. The side dishes were all very good, especially the anchovy which is very rare to see. I will definitely be back to try their other dishes next time!

This is my favorite restaurant to visit whenever I have the time, usually about twice a month. I wish I could go more often and hope they open a second location closer to me.
Highly Recommend!

This is a cute corner that feels very homey and serves great soul food! The lady serving us was very sweet and attentive to all our needs. The decor is gives a homey vibe with the dark wood interior and the smaller table seats. That said, it is harder to come with a larger group because the tables only have space for 4> people. However, the food is great and has a strong flavour. The kimchi is also really good, I was addicted to that as well as the sardines and fish cakes. I love the side dishes. The rice cakes are also very soft and chewy however they’re a bit too soft for my liking personally, but still very enjoyable! I would come back!

Parking was not easy, but the food was delicious.
I like the rice cake.
I don’t know why no one is here when I have the meal.
Absolutely come again.

I've been wanting to eat at a Korean restaurant for a long time and my dad finally brought us to one!! This was the first ever one that we went to, one of his coworkers recommended this place and oh my gosh it was so worth it! The lady serving us was so sweet, and the wait time was so short (we ordered 5 dishes.) I ordered the tteokkboki and it was so delicous! It defeintely was worth the price, the flavour, taste & portion size was amazing! I definitely recommend going here, we definitely will be coming again. 🙂🙂🙂

It’s my favorite restaurant in my neighborhood. The food is amazing and the owner is always so nice! I always recommend this place to my friends — though, honestly, every Korean friend already knows this is the best sundae-guk spot 🤭🤭

This is hands-down my favorite Korean restaurant in the area! I always order the pork bone soup. You can really taste and see the care they put into it; they don’t just boil the bones, they actually roast them firstwhich gives the broth a deep, rich flavor. Everything here is always fresh, consistent, and comforting every single time. Highly recommend!

I was really disappointed with my visit here. The chopsticks provided were cheap takeout ones, and 2 out of the 3 sets were chipped and even gave splinters — definitely not acceptable for dine-in. There was no customer service to speak of, which made the whole experience worse.
I love pork bone soup, and they had a special, but it was very mediocre and surprisingly had no potatoes. The kimchi side dish tasted odd, and the tteok ramen had a strange smell that was off-putting.
Overall, this was not the quality I expected, and I won’t be returning.

Restaurantji Recommends
Local authentic Korean spot with hearty rice cake and dumpling soup. The side dishes had kimchi, flat fish sheets, seaweed, anchovies. There’s a pork bone soup special that’s on daily. We will be back for sure.

Service was okay. Food was more expensive than ususal korean places. Food taste was too sour on my stirfry noodles. and overly sweet on my rice dish.

All dishes had some kind of stings smell.
I complained and they didn’t even try to investigate or recook the dish. Then they said never had complained like that. ???? I had no idea what to say so just paid and walked out. This restaurant seems targeting on their favorite customer. There are many options for gamjatang. We live in the area but no reason to return. I rather drive an hour to get decent gamjatang else where.

First time I went, I thought this is not gonna be that good but when I ate it, it was mind blowing. The service was fast, the restaurant was clean. And it was not that noisy. This might be the best korean food restaurant in Markham.
