This is not your regular coffee shop. The staff are quite well-versed with the various flavours and roasting of coffee beans. Let them know what you enjoy and they will be happy to help you choose something that's right for your pallet. There's a little bit of seating where you can enjoy your beverage. There's also free parking, which is nice. They also had a variety of coffee making supplies if anyone was looking for something out of the ordinary.
At the time there was also a pop-up bakery in one of the corners just off of the entrance. So, we tried one of their pastries, and it was delicious.
If I was in the area, I would definitely come back here.
Parking: I went on a weekend, so there was plenty of parking within this commercial office space. It might be a different story during a weekday when people are back at work.

Lovely coffee store with delicious coffee. I was looking to find nice coffee beans and was recommended to visit Hatch Coffee Roasters. I’m glad I took a look!
I ordered a Latte with the Blackout beans and I enjoyed it a lot. The latte was smooth, had nice subtle flavours and was low in acidity.
The coffee beans lean more towards lighter and fruity roasts which isn’t my preference, but smelling some of them gave me a nice surprise as some fruity scents were pretty strong! They do have some darker roasts, and I’m happy with my bag of Blackout beans. Looking forward to my next Aeropress brew with them!
There is some seating in the store, but not too much. There’s also various coffee equipment for purchase, some of them are very cute.

We were visiting Toronto and deliberately made a visit to Hatch after hearing great things about their specialty coffee from others. Immediately after entering, there is a vending machine containing canned coffees from hatch which was very neat. In the far corner, there was a plethora of pour over related accessories for sale which were neatly arranged. Unfortunately, this is where our excitement ended. We ordered 2 pour overs, el paraiso amazake ($13), and el vergel ($13), perhaps we went on an off day, but both cups were extremely underwhelming. The coffees had some body, but coffee notes were muted. The el paraiso had no noticeable scent to it either. Perhaps our expectations were too high, but it was not an enjoyable cup for us as both cups tasted quite underextracted. We were fortunate enough to visit other coffee shops within the GTA including subtext, the library, both of which were far more enjoyable to us than Hatch.

Have placed about 3 or 4 orders for beans now and think I've settled on Supernova as my go-to. I'm up near Grand Bend and it's always great how quickly bags arrive after ordering, as I can never seem to think ahead and order before running out. Compared to a competitor out of Edmonton I've been more happy with Hatch due to speed of delivery and flavour of beans (for my taste). Looking forward to placing my next order.

Great service. Coffee is all about your own preference. To my taste, I found it overrated.

Popped by here to get a latte and a flat white. Coffee was good. Not acidic and quite smooth. They only provide oat milk which is no problem for me since that's my go to anyways. It was a nice change for my husband who usually takes milk. After we had our drinks, we decided to buy a bag of beans to take home to make espresso with. Will definitely come back here again. Nice to see how they roast the coffee in the background too.

Might be the best cappuccino I've ever had. I had the Hamasho which was incredibly flavourful. I immediately bought a bag. I'm coming back every time I visit Toronto...

The baristas have always been knowledgeable and patient and answer your questions. The coffee is premium and always consistent. We had a Yemeni coffee pour over today and it was very good.
They are serious out their coffee.

The barista was arrogant. I didn’t go there to hear about other shops’ reviews, and it really put me in a bad mood. Their coffee wasn’t good enough to justify such an attitude.
