Shout out to Hilary! She’s so friendly and welcoming her vibe made the experience 10 times better
Favourite coffee in the city by far. Really recommend the Gamma roast as well as the specialty of the month. Worth the $$ for high quality beans and coffee.
Nice Coffee!
Worship at this temple of coffee!! Now!!! Fantastic selection of roasted beans. Not just dark and medium. We're talking single origin, anaerobic fermentation, from elegant to funky. Get your fix of barista drinks and a small selection of patisseries. Plenty of non-dairy options. Other offerings include a full range of cold brews, artisan gelato, brew ware. An independent Markham gem!
I attended a coffee roasting workshop with Boris at Hatch Coffee Roasters. Wonderful experience and I learned a lot!
There are three people inside, but I have to wait for over 5 mins like no one here. When the girl finally ask me what I want, her attitude is really cool and voice down, like a rapper or hip hop dancer. All I want is just a cup of tasty coffee fresh me out. This interesting experience wakes me up anyway. Oh, and another 10 mins for my flat white. Very impressive.
Supernova is our favourite coffee bean! Have only purchased this coffee for over a year now - so proud to be supporting a Canadian business.
Very happy that Hatch also offers Desbarres chocolate.
I wish they sold 2KG bags here. Unfortunately it is only available for purchase online. That being said, beans have always been shipped in 2-3 days.
This is a coffee love factory
Great place to buy coffee beans and brewing products.
Visited hatch location for the first time yesterday and it is a nice, laid back space. Almost looks like an office break room. Staff are nice, friendly and not pushy. All their coffee beans can be seen and smelled in tiny tin containers laid in front of the roasted bags. When I was ready to make an order the staff was quite nice. She explained she had to make it to go since they were closing. I asked for pour over recommendations and she recommended a couple they are serving. Then she started making my pour over. Slowly and nicely as expected which I truly appreciate since it was closing time. She did even used a cupping spoon to taste the coffee before handing it over which showed me how much they care for quality. They also sell a lot of coffee related tools and equipment with some primer info if needed on the price tags. Overall excellent experience.

coffee r good but no idea why we had the coffee inside the shop but got paper cups while others had dine-in vases and mugs even after confirmed to the cashier that we r dine-in.
Super cool place and the coffee tastes delicious
Nice environment, great latte and was able to stock up on my favourite bean as well. Today is Nov 29 and it was toasted Nov 25 which is very good in my opinion. $22.00 for the bag.
There are some areas to sit but go early Saturday to grab a table. There is also a workshop area in the back with classes occurring and it’s neat to watch while awaiting your coffee.
It’s located in an industrial type area in Markham. Lots of parking on site.
I’ve been a loyal customer of Hatch for a long time, but the drink quality has been declining over the past two years. Today’s Red Lotus Latte was honestly the worst I’ve ever had there. It’s really disappointing to see such a great coffee shop lose the consistency and quality it was once known for.
It is a 10/10! It really doesn't get any better. Perfectly extracted espresso with floral, fruity and sweet notes distinctive from an Ethiopian coffee. The pour over is a must try too! It is very smooth but yet flavorful.
