The restaurant decor and layout are superb. There's even live music late on some evenings, typically in Mandarin and/or English.

One of my favorite restaurants! I've been here nearly 10x by now, and the food is always great. Drinks are a highlight, always. Always thought the service was decent enough, but realized just how great it was when I held my birthday dinner here. Staff was patient, kind, and helped us take photos. Atmosphere is amazing. Interior decor is so pretty. The live music can be a hit or miss, but either way it's always a nice addition. I read some of the lower rating reviews, and I agree that the volume should be lowered. It can be a bit overwhelming, and it can be difficult to hear the people you're with over the noise. But it's also not like the live music is continuous; the singers usually do take breaks.

I used to like this place, however recent visit is disappointing. The menu changed, durian pizza is still good, but another dish 锅包肉 took almost an hour to be served when we almost finished dinner. 小鸡炖蘑菇is very salty. The live singing was very loud, l guess some people would prefer loud live music, definitely not the best choice for family with very young kids.

We have been coming to this restaurant for many years and every anniversary. We love the atmosphere and service. Dylan has been diligent, professional and dedicated. It’s sad to hearing that the restaurant is being rebranded soon, we grew rather attached to the image. The menu has been changed a lot too. Many of the Sichuan dishes were removed, especially my favourite, Hutaoli noodles. We were saddened to hear they did not even have any of the sauce prepared today. Unfortunately one more authentic Sichuan dish place is off the list now.

Visited with my husband on Sat's night, waited for 15mins at entrance even it wasn't full inside. The foods we ordered taste ok, but there were NO service at all! We ordered a pitcher of beer at the beginning with foods, and didn't get it till we almost finish the dinner. Asked couple times,and arrived when we asked to cancel! The live music was nice, two singers performed a very nice job, but still too loud for people to chat inside. However,I don't think we will visit again, dont wanna go thru this experience again that being ignored for the whole night.

The music felt quite unpolished, with acoustics that were overly loud and poorly balanced. It gave the impression of an impromptu karaoke session, with vocals that felt a bit too up-close and personal. Some sound refinement could go a long way in creating a more enjoyable atmosphere.

I love Chinese food..and this is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants. My favorites are the Roast chicken. It has a thin like paper crunchy skin. They do garnish it with peanuts. So not for ones with peanut allergies. Other favorite is hutaoli noodles. But the sauce is at the bottom so you gotta mix well from the bottom. And then we got the mala spicy chicken which was delicious as well. They have live band or karaoke in the evenings which is pretty cool as Markham shuts in the evenings.
