I received worst worst paneer Makhanni ever in my life. I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone who don't even serve real Indian paneer makhanni.
Terrible customer service. Below average food. Very arrogant owners.
Order reference - 3E2P5OA55FBXX , we ordered a food pick up online on 20th April 2024, which was promptly accepted. Paid the price in full etc. When I go to pick up in person, I see that the place is closed. Absolutely unacceptable !
I tried calling them up to no avail and even emailed them numerous times. No response. We are still waiting for an answer 2+ weeks and counting.
Exercise caution and possibly avoid ordering from this spot !
We went to this place in the evening around 7-7.30 pm. The setup and ambiance were wonderful. Especially in summer, it would be good with put side patio. The server was friendly. However, the food was very mediocre. Despite us being only two people in the entire place, it took them long to prepare everything. The menu was extremely basic and limited. They surely need to work on the taste. I am giving them three stars for the ambiance.

What a gem! It looks like a hole in the wall but this place delivered on taste, quality and ambience. So glad to have this in our area!

The best Indian food we've had in Markham. There are many options around town but the authenticity and flavoring of every dish tried here stood apart. A real variety in the options for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Highly recommended!

My wife and I had dinner at this restaurant this evening. The last time we came to Khau Gully it was so busy that we were unable to get a table, but this time it was unusually quiet, especially for a Saturday evening, with only two other tables occupied. The service staff were very attentive, and quite helpful, but our greatest concern was the quality of our meals, or lack thereof !Maybe it was my fault for ordering “the wrong choices”, but both the dishes that we ordered we’ve had at countless other Indian restaurants, and these were the worst versions we’ve ever had.We will not be trying Khau Gully for a second time

Came here 6:30pm today, we did make reservations but they are not busy when we arrive. Restaurant is 80% full at some point during our dinner. We used to order butter chicken everytime we go to Indian restaurant so we ask our server Nick to recommend something for us.Our server recommended some dishes we never try before so we ordered all of them.It turns out everything tasted great and nothing is too spicy for everyone in our group.Service is excellent, everyone at the restaurant dress well and very professional.Prices is a bit above average but I think is fair for the high quality service and great food.Lots of parking here so no problem at all.

Great dining experience during our dinner night. We enjoyed the food, especially loved the lamb seekh kebab which was really tender. This is an upscale restaurant with beautifully presented Indian food, and because of this the price is on the higher side. Definitely a good option if you’re looking to eat at a place that gives that *wow* factor.
2 main course dishes served had already gone bad. Upon bringing it to their notice, they offered to replace the dishes and they did not charge us for it. However, how can they serve spoilt food. We asked them to smell the food in front of us but they did not and did not agree that the food was spoilt. They kept telling that they will replace it because we did not like it. They were not apologetic about serving spoilt food. It was not an experience you would ever want on your evening out. Overall, the food was not great.

Two of the 4 main course dishes were bad. Chicken had gone bad. Mixed veg was stale and had started turning sour. The restaurant was not willing to accept that there was a problem, even though you could smell that the food had gone bad.All the other food was below average, at best.Very disappointing.
