We visited this bar on Friday, December 20th, 2024, with a group of 5. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by the attitude of the older bartender.
We were seated on high chairs without back support and politely asked if we could be moved to more comfortable seating. However, the bartender refused, stating that the better chairs were reserved for "special guests." Her tone was dismissive and rude.
We were taken aback by the apparent discrimination and decided to finish our drinks and leave. The bartender's inability to communicate her policy in a respectful manner left a bad taste.
We won't be returning to this establishment, which seems to prioritize certain customers over others. Disappointing experience.

very friendly service and good neighbourhood British/scottish pub feel. Beer is cold. Food was good, nothing extraordinary but that’s what I came for!! :) I had Sheppard pie, and bruschetta. I like that it’s small and not a big noisy pub. I get to have a chat with my co worker and didn’t have to yell to get heard. Will come back again if I’m looking for a good pub in the area.
Parking: Convenient location, not far from highway.

I've checked out this place a couple of times while staying in the area. The food was excellent and portion sizes were fair. The staff were extremely friendly and we didn't wait long for service. We were there on a Sunday and they had a couple of football games on. Great relaxing atmosphere to enjoy a bite to eat.

Was told I must not touch ‘her’ door if I left with food I couldn’t finish. As a man , that’s disrespectful in a public place in front of everyone . Service : It depends who’s on the shift .
Great Food, Relaxing Atmosphere, Great Service, Good bunch of friendly regulars. They made a newcomer to Canada feel very welcome.

Food quality was horrible. The chicken wings we ordered were broken, and a couple of pieces looked like someone took a piece off of them. The seasar salad apparently consists of romain lettuce (old lettuce) and dressing. Bacon is only available if you ask for it. The best thing is that the server wanted to have an argument about the quality of the food. All in all, I spent $135 at the place,one adult, two children, and none of our meals was satisfying. They definitely had excellent draft kilkenny beer, though. The quality of that place has declined tremendously since the last time I've been there. Won't be going back.

Great quaint local Irish pub at the north east corner of warden and HWY 7. It’s got a great atmosphere, super friendly staff and plenty of drinks on tap. Finding a good non-franchise bar in Markham is hard, this here is a little gem. The food is pretty tasty and reasonably priced with a big menu too. So if you are in the area drop in for a pint.

Ridiculous there’s a new blond young waiter an this is the third time being served by her , I waited basically ten minutes each time before she came back from off her phone she’s never focus I’ve seen her many times while I mtrying to obtain attention and she so. Her phone today I came in an I was sprayed with booze while she attempted to shake it I went back to work sticky w booze , an then as I’m trying to look for her to get my bill she’s laying darts for so long that I needed to walk up to her an directly ask it might as well be a night club were the waiter wants to entertain men an be on her phone not worth coming when she works every other waiter is amzing atttentive
