Bad receptionist and management
The restaurant for NYE was horribly managed. They overestimated their capacity and delivery of service. Reservation for 12:30 not seated until after 13:15. The waiting area is not big enough and the only hostess did not advise to remain in front of her to be called. Our group was waiting right on the other side of the door and this hostess has the audacity to yell at us in front of other customers when she did not bother checking and calling out to the whole waiting area both in front of her desk and between the 2 entrance doors. This is unacceptable behaviour and customer service.
Food quality is alright

I went to this restaurant many times and I have experienced impolite waiters. The fish tanks are not clean with green stuff growing on the side of them inside. Dim sum is so-so and dinner is food anyone can make at home. The waiters/waitresses have a lot of attitude.

A dim sum feast fit for kings, start off your Sunday mornings on the right foot by choosing the well-executed classics of a bouncy shrimp filling wrapped with a crystal skin wrapper, or the harmony between land and sea of siu mai. Make sure to get here early, or you risk spending your lunch time sitting in a queue, but rest assured, when you're seated, all of your favourites will not disappoint. I was pleasantly surprised with how tender yet crisp the squid tentacles were; each bite juices out a savory five-spice aroma.

I recently dined at Kingsfield Chinese Cuisine with friends, and the food was excellent and truly worth recommending.
However, during the meal, I witnessed an incident that was quite concerning. A server pointed her finger at a department head dressed in black and spoke to her loudly and disrespectfully in front of guests. This behavior was clearly inappropriate, made nearby diners uncomfortable, and negatively affected the overall dining atmosphere.
Despite the situation, the department head remained calm, professional, and composed. She stepped in promptly to address the issue, and her leadership, professionalism, and management skills were impressive and deserve recognition.
Overall, the quality of the food and the department head’s professionalism were definite highlights of the experience. That said, the conduct of some front-line staff requires improvement. I hope the restaurant will strengthen staff training and supervision to ensure a respectful and pleasant dining environment for all guests.

Walked in and bam—felt exactly like I was back eating in Shanghai! This spot’s so popular. We showed up right before the dinner rush, and it was packed to the rafters in, like, 10 minutes. Every single dish slaps, and the portions are huge—no skimping here! The lobsters? Chef’s kiss—straight-up incredible.
Perfect for us Chinese folks—whether it’s Lunar New Year, a birthday party, or a business dinner, this place nails it every time.
Only tiny gripe: the staff might rush you a little. Pretty sure they’re just trying to turn tables faster for the next crowd, though!

The hygiene was terrible; I got diarrhea after eating there. The front desk staff were very rude.

I love the chestnut congee here—it's incredibly delicious and the portion is huge. I would 100% recommend it!
We also tried the vegetable dumplings and the egg yolk buns for dessert, and they were just as impressive.
Service is efficient, and the atmosphere is lively, just like any great dim sum spot.

This restaurant used to be our first choice for dim sum, but today the last day.
The service was extremely slow even though the restaurant wasn’t busy. After waiting about 20 minutes, a server finally told us that one of the dishes we ordered was not available. Another 30 minutes passed, and our congee still hadn’t arrived. We asked a server to check, but no one came back to explain.
In the end, I had to go to the front counter myself, only to find out that the congee was also unavailable. Throughout the whole time, the staff kept making excuses and showed no apology or concern.
Very disappointing experience — poor communication, slow service, and indifferent attitude. It’s sad to see how much the service has declined. We won’t be coming back.
I loved the tea served and the dessert i had was good but the fish was as bland as it can get. It is the least flavorful Chinese meal i have ever had.
