Loved the food, atmosphere and the staff were nice. I ordered a cocktail and it was really delicious and trendy with a slice of candy And a thin slice of lemon. Food was great, had some sushi and chicken karaage. My friends and I had a great time. I would definitely go back.

Best sushi I’ve had in Markham. It’s expensive but worth it. We only ate nigiri with some edamame to start. The edamame were excellent quality. Sushi standouts were the salmon belly, hamachi, hotate, and otoro. Melt-in-your-mouth fish with light and fluffy rice. Outstanding.

We tried their New Omakase Course. Their Omakase Menu changes daily, but it will come with Appetizer, 2 Rounds of Sushi (Total 10 pieces), Miso Soup, Agemono and Dessert! We also opted for the Sake Pairing to elevate our dinner! Overall we had an AMAZING experience sampling their well-thought-out Omakase menu, incredibly fresh Seafood, attentive service, a BIG MUST try from us!

Food is VERY expensive for what you get.I even got a sampler style food arrangement that allowed the chef to make whatever they wanted. Shrimp tempura with tartar style sauce? Really?No creativity.The service was very good though.They need to adjust their pricing for the quality of food...

I walked by and randomly decided to order take out from this restaurant and it was the best decision I made today! The front desk person was so helpful and friendly in assisting in my order. The food was very well packaged and was made quickly to order. By the time I arrived home - the food was still hot and super delicious! I’m excited to come back with friends for dine in. Especially after this very wonderful experience ordering take out - I can only imagine how great their dine in service will be!

When we went to the place at night, the staff was slow, and we had to call them. The atmosphere was horrible since the sushi chef dragged the garbage bag in front of us, which was so unclean. The Udon that was ordered was super salty. I felt like it was not worth the price, and I was disgusted by the cleanliness.

My fiance and I had a really lovely lunch at Kiu, it was to celebrate our anniversary and early Valentine’s Day. Kiu’s staff went above and beyond to make this lunch special for us by providing Prosecco on the house and a hand written card (so sweet!) We got the meal set for 2 and it came with fresh sashimi chefs choice, sushi and udon. The food was amazing and the staff were so friendly. We are lactose intolerant and the dessert was ice cream so we asked if there were any alternatives. We received the watashi cake set and it was the most cutest dessert filled with yummy red bean filling and chewy mochi. 10/10 - chefs kiss for the entire experience. We had an amazing time and will definitely come back!
