Food was good but service was your typical Chinese restaurant..... Wait staff seems was having a bad day!
While I totally enjoy the food here, their service is absolutely garbage. I see no smiles from any of the servers. I don't feel welcome at all.
I was here once at 9:30pm and they are already closed. Posted hours show they close at 10pm. So today (Friday) I got here at 9pm (they close at 10:30pm) and once again I was told their kitchen is closed for the day. It wasn't until I made a comment about their closing hours that they let me in "as a favor".
REALLY bad service.
VERY unfortunate.

Ordered the $168 HK set. The lobster in Maggi style was very fresh and tasty. Loved the steamed bass. I saw them get the fresh seafood and they brought to our table to see.
The sweet and sour pork was crispy and good. They advised the vegetable in the menu was not in season and offered ton choy instead- it was made very well.
I enjoyed this restaurant, surprised about the relatively low rating on Google, as it did not reflect my experience.
I will definitely be back and try their other options.

For the price point, food is too oily, flavors don’t make sense, portions are too small. 1/5 for the honey pepper fried oysters & garlic pea shoots. char kway teow was too bland.
Don't buy bread here?. During the special price period, it is not half price, which deceives customers. The price sign is confusing and does not clearly show the correct charges for various breads and pastries. I paid $19.20 for 8 pieces. Instead, they charge according to the price that the two clerks like. Even if they think it is the original price, it is the original price. You must compare the money! Very dishonest!

Service was terrible. Asked for water 3 times and still didn't come until the end of the meal. Also took away our food early without asking if we were done. Forced me to tip $2 when their service was terrible. DO NOT RECCOMEND.

It should be that the boss, menu, and chef have changed.I waited at the door for 10 minutes and no one paid attention. No number was given. There is a menu card for Happy hour 11-5pm posted at the door, but it was not taken out after sitting down. After sitting down, I ordered the Baked Pork Chop Rice with Tomato Sauce, which was recommended by Samsung on the menu. It was $15, not including drinks. When the rice arrived, I discovered that the tomato sauce was a Chinese-style sauce, which is made from jelly beans and water (the same as the juice of fresh tomato beef rice). And the juice is very thin and watery. The pork chop is cut into old pieces, not a large piece.Along with the rice comes a spoon, but no knife or fork.Overall it tasted terrible.

Decent HK cafe restaurant located inside New Kennedy Square. It is quite small so there is limited seating available. Prices are slightly higher than other HK cafes, so I'm giving them 3 stars. They offer fresh seafood, including fish ?, crab ?, and lobster . Worth a try if you're shopping at the plaza.
