Food court express version of Lucullus Bakery. They close later but the steam rice they tend to run out before closing time. Excellent food for the price! Especially the rice and drink combo.

Sept 2/25 Looks very good. I think it is better than T&T Supermarket. I did not have the chance to try it, because I have congee for lunch already, on my last day in Toronto. Hope I could try next time.

On July 22, 2025, around 1-2pm. I went to Lucullus at 5000 HW7 in the Markham food court and ordered a steamed chicken and mushroom (rice box) and found that the chicken was not fully cooked and was very pink (raw). I went back to Lucullus and told the staff (both the lady and the gentleman). Unfortunately, they insisted that the chicken was fully cooked , but the texture was still quite pink which was worrying. I didn't even ask for a refund and they just ignore me. I was so angry and this was the worst experience I have ever had. The short old lady working there was very rude especially with her tone of voice. They have no manners when talking to and serving customers. They will lose customers very quickly.

Fast service since no lines, small selection of buns compared to the much lauded Saint Germain upstairs.
Here the convenient grab and go drinks drew me in, though at $7.75CAD.
Tried the black sesame tea, a companion tried the tofu skin sweet soup and both are as expected, sweetened and similar to some Cantonese restaurant desserts.
Many hk Cafe style drinks as well, also some interesting choices like New England clam chowder if you're in the mood 🤔
Happy to see this HK Style bun place in Markvill mall. Only thing is that it is slightly pricey

The food was bland. Service is slow, and based on a lack of selection, running out of popular items, they just don't seem to know what the customer wants. Shrink the selection, focus on what you're good at, and get better coffee. Don;t recommend until there are changes here.

By far this location is the worst. Not sure where the quality control is. From day one there are always flies in the food bins. By buns are always crushed when packed. Why do they feel they have to give the smallest bag possible. I’m paying for the bag, please give me the appropriate sized one. The lemon tea is diluted to no flavour and they don’t use bottled water at this location, it’s pre mixed. I have given this location multiple chances and will not be going back. People assume that Lucullus is one of the best. I tell you folks now. They are far from even being top 5 in GTA for chinese bakeries

I attempted to order food in the morning, but the staff member was in the kitchen and did not come to the front counter to assist me. After waiting for over five minutes, she finally came out and immediately informed me that they were not fully ready yet. It was 9:15 AM, and it was clear she had heard me requesting service but chose to ignore it for several minutes. I always go to Lucullus for their buns and rice boxes—the quality is consistent—but the service is never an enjoyable experience to be honest.

Worst experience I’ve ever had. The chicken in my meal was raw and the whole dish was clumped together as if it were frozen and reheated improperly. Had to throw out after 2 bites because it was inedible. I don’t know how they are open for business.
