The present owner has many years of experience in the authentic Chinese cuisine in Hamilton,Ontario. We used to go to his Hamilton restaurant every weekends for at lest over 10 years until he moved to Markham.. Good food and service too.We really missed him.

Went to this place for take out after an Instagram blogger said how spectacular this place is. Most of the food was just ok. The beef with radish is really radish with beef. But the star is the spicy salt squid! Every thing was tough, breading so thick, i felt I was eating leftover from 2 days ago. You would think without the quality, they would make it up with quantity? Well i can see the bottom of the take out container as it felt like i had only half an order. DON'T BELEIVE INSTAGRAM FOOD VLOGGERS! Esp that one guy... -^-

Update 2025 Service is getting bad now, and food quality is not even worth to drive here! Many good restaurants at New Kennedy Square! If they cannot keep up the quality, should not keep the reowned restaurant name!

The ownership changed around May/June last year and the food tasted horrible during the transition period. My favorite dish of runny egg white with shrimp flat noodle turned out well done solid egg yolk, which was the worst place I've been for such a common menu at any Cantonese restaurant.
I decided to give them one more chance and went there few months later, and they did improve the food quality, which made the taste consistent with the previous owner..
My next 3 visits there were positive as they made a few more changes, e.g. slight price hike, higher quality take-out container, introduced new menu such as hot pot targeted for dine-in. Yes, they re-opened dine-in area with less table but more spacious area since the previous owner closed it during covid. I do appreciate the option for dine-in so it is a good news to me.
For long time customers, you should give them a second chance to support local restaurant.

Really sad that the best spaghetti bolognese in town is gone since this restaurant is under new management. The milk tea is still good since the front staff who brew the tea is the same. The salted fish fried rice and Singapore noodles were also not great. They also removed the afternoon tea menu.

Very disappointing experience. ordered two dishes for takeout and had to wait an entire hour to get my food. No updates or apologies during the wait. The food wasn’t worth the frustration. I won’t be coming back.”
