Came here for a family event with almost 60-80 people and we were given our own section with the staff being very friendly and attentive

This was my first time eating at Mandarin's, and wow what an amazing dinner. The restaurant was so clean and well maintained, kind of important in a restaurant, the staff were amazing, our server, attentive, helpful courteous, great sense of humour, and the food, wow, the food, so delicious, so abundant both in quantity and variety, and all the dishes and fresh salads looked as good as they tasted. One of my favourites was the mango salad, never had it before, but so delicious, fresh, crisp, flavourful, and a nice contrast to the other dishes I had had. Another favourite, was their version of salt and pepper shrimp, different than what I have had before, a lighter coating but equally yummy. and then at the end of an amazing meal, our server brought us hot wet hand towels so we could clean our hands wow, what an excellent way to finish a meal. Mandarins thank you for the fantastic dining experience.

My family and I came here for a birthday. Mandarin has always been a good go to AYCE restaurant, but unfortunately we had an allergy incident. It is almost known globally that peanuts are a very common allergen and unfortunately one of the dishes had crushed up peanuts. My boyfriend who is deathly allergic had a reaction to one of the dishes that were only beside this dish that contained peanuts. It was definitely a cross contamination between servings spoons. The name of the dish labeled at the top did NOT even mention peanuts was one of the ingredients. Fortunately, his body quickly knew to eject everything that he ate and was able to calm down the symptoms with an allergy pill. We told one of the servers and tried to tell us that non of the dishes had peanuts. She had a bit an attitude and that made me really upset. I understand that it’s labour day weekend and it’s super busy, but severe allergy concerns should not be overlooked. This is a serious issue that should be fixed as this could cost someone’s life.
