This spot was one of the most hyped sushi spots on reddit and found it average. The salmon anything was nice but some of the sashimi was bleh. Everything was fresh, no food poisoning. For the price I was expecting a bit more. The staff were nice.

I recently visited Markham Sushi and the waitress Maggie was excellent and very pleasant to all the customers. Our meal was served exactly as ordered and her service was great. The tempura was perfect and will be sure to visit again. Maggie was very welcoming, and greeted all the customers with a lovely smile. 😊

Do not bother coming in to pick your order, unless you enjoy waiting over 20 minutes for a few simple rolls. I arrived early, out of respect and punctuality only to be met with nearly half an hour of extra waiting time. Disappointment is an understatement, I was told 4 separate times my order was going to be delayed. Markham sushi WAS a great establishment, that responded and delivered in a timely manner. Truly upsetting to see how my favourite local spot has declined in service. Will not be coming to this location again. Save your time on coming here.

My friend and I had a nice lunch at Markham Sushi. I tried the Fire roll which was ok. I had not tried this deep fried roll before and not sure I would have it again. The sashimi was very good as was the salmon sushi. I am usually very pleased with the service and the quality of the food. One of our favourite local sushi restaurants.
