I really hate their service. They are so lazy. I told them I can’t eat raw eggs in advanced because of pregnancy and they were like so sorry can’t do anything about it too busy. Honestly, their food and price isn’t that special or whatsoever. I wouldn’t come here if it wasn’t close by my house. But after this incident I rather drive like 10mins extra and go to kitchen m or blue ocean.Dietary restrictions: They don’t care!

I often go to Matsuya for lunch and afternoon tea. Today I went to lunch and met the rude waitress. Three of my family members and I entered the restaurant. There were not many people dining in the restaurant. A waitress wearing a vest jacket asked us how many people were dining. We said four, so the waitress arranged for us to sit the big round table at the corner and given us the menus and four cups of tea. When we were ready to order, a tall, thin and bespectacled waitress asked us in an impolite tone why four of us were sitting at the big table, and asked us to sit at another table in a very unfriendly manner. We were discriminated against by my sister because after she waited on us to change the table, she arranged for another family of four to sit at the table of six. This experience makes me not want to go to this restaurant again.

Place was somewhat busy during lunch hour. Service is a low grade Chinese OK... If you know you know. Lunched here under my father in law reco and my verdict. NO I'm not coming back. In terms of HK style cafe there are so many other to choose from in the Markham area. Food is bland... Satay beef vermicelli with scramble egg sandwich.. it was more like beef with bland vermicelli minus the Satay sauce??‍♀️ like where is the sauce?? Portuguese chicken with rice... Chicken flew the coop??‍♀️ i had 3 bite size pieces of chicken. There's more onions and green pepper than potatos. Salt apparent is to expensive. Milk tea.. I've had better. If you are on a very low sodium diet then this is the recommended place. If you preferred flavor and experience pick another place.

It's actually not that bad.I give it 3.5/5.I think the price range is not crazily expensive, the food is not bad, the service was not bad. It's a typical Hong Kong cafe restaurant (I usually go there for breakfast/lunch/afternoon tea, this is one of my go-to places)Hope this review helps.

I have been going there a few times. The food is fair but the services are not good. 1) They urged the customer to leave and made you feel uncomfortable. 2) They don't give rounded tables for five people but stick them in a 4-seat table plus an extra chair. When you asked for the rounded table, they explained the tables are reserved, but it happened many times even if it was not a busy time. Reservation is made in their mind for more people.I never visited this restaurant again because of the bad service and changed to Phoenix Restaurant because they have better food and service.

Fair prices, decent food portion, efficient and fast service, seating can be a bit tight if they're busy. Accept credit card, except for AE.

Definitely interesting to see korean fusion HK style cafe. We came for breakfast and the restaurant was surprisingly full, but I guess there's not much selection in this area. Food wise, I'm not sure I personally like this combination. I ordered the Satay Beef noodles, and although this is usually one of my favourites, it didn't seem to work well with the korean style instant noodles. I also found it very expensive, almost $10 for a couple pieces of beef (maybe 5 pcs all together?) and a pack of instant noodles. The pork chop was better and felt much more satisfying for basically the same price but is still just average. As a redeeming factor, their milk tea was good. I've heard some good things about this place, so I'd love to go back and try dinner or lunch instead as those meals usually require more cooking and are less instant.
