The service was very disappointing. We waited far too long, not just for the food but also for the bill. It felt like the staff was not attentive, and the overall experience was frustrating. Definitely not a place I would recommend if you value good service.

Had a dead bee in the sashimi!! I understand mistake can happen but they didn’t handle it properly, tried to compensate a bug in food with free ice cream, disappointing gesture but on top of that, ice cream super frozen and not edible at all. Disappointed as a returning customer on a 250 dollar bill.

The plating (yes, plate) of chirashi donburi is visually shocking. It was served on a risotto plate instead of a bowl, this is a first to me. Then there's romaine lettuce and asparagus?! A few slices of seaweed on the side. And a not so crispy fried seaweed in the middle. The selection of seafood is very disappointed at the price they are charging. Addition of imitation crab meat makes the dish looks cheap. Overall is not visually appealing. This has to be one of the worst chirashidon I had in memory. The portions is ok, but tastewise is pretty plain and nothing outstanding to speak of. At $38 (Aug 2025), this is way overpriced. Many places in the area at $20-25 range are much better in flavor, selection and presentation.
As for service, it is not bad and it's promptly.

We were very disappointed with Mi-ne last night. The service was slow and we waited 25 minutes before we flagged down a waitress as no one responded to the cal button. The food was nicely presented but very bland. No one came to check on us during the entire meal and we had to flag a server to get the bill. Overpriced and poor service…not worth going to Mi-ne.

Mi NE sushi and shashimis are always fresh. We tried their eel dinner set and it was good. Large portion. My daughter insist on having dessert (Dango and green tea cheese cake) and the dessert was good too. They also provide oranges as affermeal fruit for free. Their price is on the pricier end, but if you want quality sushi...this is a place for you.
Food was fresh and delicious. Portion was also generous while prices reasonably.
My wife has celiac, aside from having gluten free soy sauce available, the restaurant basically didn't have any knowledge on gluten free options. She ended up ordering a sashimi combo which should be fairly low risk. It came with a deep fried tempura seaweed as a garnish. This told me they didn't understand what cross contamination is.
Otherwise if you don't have any dietary restrictions, this is a fine place to go for Japanese food.

We come here quite often. However, the service has been getting slower and slower. We went on a Monday evening. The restaurant was not busy and there was no line up. But still, we had to stand at the front and wait 10 minutes before someone came to seat us. We didn't even get water or anything. Then, we waited for almost 30 mins at the table, trying to wave someone down to take our order. We rang the bell 3 times. But no one came. Not even once. We ended up leaving without eating there. Wasted 45 mins of our time. Unless you have hours to spare, don't come here.
