The food portions are good. If you get the boneless fried chicken, it's probably better to share with a group.Found the Bulgogi Jungsik particularly delicious. They usually have music playing the entire time as well. I think cost wise, this place sits on the higher side.Washrooms on premises.

I haven't been here in a while, but my memories of it are always the BEST! The food here is pricey, but the Korean Fried Chicken tastes very good and is worth every dollar. Unfortunately, I was not able to get seated at my most recent visit, because we were 3 minutes away from last call. Also, they changed the name of the restaurant for some reason. No review yet as I haven't tried the food since the name change, I will try going again. Hopefully the food is just as great as I remember.

the moment we walked, we were greeted by a lovely server she was very sweet! the place is so well decorated and cute. plating was so cute and aesthetic. the garlic soy chicken was absolutely delicious and the spicy chicken killeddd us but the spice made it scrumptious. and finally the sweet potato fries were so crunchy and not too oily! can’t wait to come back for more ?

Wide variety selection of Korean food. Chicken were huge. It’s on the pricier side for Korean food.

If you're looking for a restaurant that specializes in Korean fried chicken and beer, then look no further than Mr. ChiMaek on Kennedy Road in Markham, ON. This cozy spot has a great atmosphere and delicious food that will leave you wanting more. The Korean fried chicken is out of this world. It's crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with a perfect blend of sweet and spicy flavors. Whether you're in the mood for classic fried chicken or something a bit more adventurous, like the garlic soy or spicy BBQ, Mr. ChiMaek has got you covered. But it's not just the chicken that's amazing at Mr. ChiMaek. The menu also features a range of Korean dishes, from classic bibimbap and kimchi fried rice to noodle dishes like japchae and spicy seafood udon. I got the gamjatang which was delicious, but after a bites the owner noticed that it had a burnt smell a little bit. Because of this, the owner came over to check if everything was fine, and wanted to exchange our food. I insisted it was good, but she came back with dumplings. AMAZING SERVICE!Will be back for more, thank you!
Mozzarella spicy rice cake ??♀️(ordered take out. For $20+, The portion and presentation are really disappointing. taste is not impressive but decent. Love the rice cake though, staying chewy even after hours and microwave. Very clean aftertaste, you can tell they use good ingredient. Better go in group & share
A wonderful place and in our experience, the best Korean fry chicken restaurant in GTA. Chicken so crispy and yet surprising juicy. Wide selection of fry chicken dishes in terms of flavor, sauce, cooking style and portion (half-and-half gives great flexibility).Price is definitely value for money although not the cheapest.Service is always attentive and friendly!
I wanted to try the honey butter chicken. It was not bad but definitely too expensive. The chicken did not really impress me. The cashier was friendly. It’s also almost double compared to the Korean place at Langham.
First time coming here,The place is really nicely decorated with a bunch of pop culture icons.I really like the small yet still spacious interior which makes it feel more intimate if you are going with a group or a date. The food was pretty pricey but worth it as it was delicious (for reference my group had the carbonara boneless and the cheese butter seasoned boneless and kimchi fries)Overall, a great place with great food and reasonable prices. If I had to think of a con it would be that it's pricey. That's about it

I haven’t tried everything off their menu, however I have tried a few different flavours for their fried chicken. It is fantastic. I can’t get fried chicken from anywhere else now! I have not found anything better yet. My favourite flavour so far is dry hot. Bone in. You have to try this.
A small korean chicken store at the corner of the street but it is way much better than i expected. I had half and half chicken ( half garlic soy and half spicy) and the cheese fries. Recommend them. I wiĺl be back for sure.
Cool interior, good service, good chicken, very pricey menu. ($39.50 before tax for the chicken picture, $20 for tteokbokki)
Some of the best fried chicken I have ever had! Recommend the honey butter and the garlic soy. Trust me. When I have potluck events to attend this is my go to every time. Everyone will love it!
Hands down the best spot for Korean fried chicken! The first time I ordered from here, they forgot to give me my honey butter fries so I called them to let them know and they were so lovely to talk to. They took my name and number down and I was able to get it my next order. Staff are so friendly! We love the honey butter fried chicken as well as the garlic soy sauce chicken (half and half - perfect amount for 2-4 people). Perfect crunch, seasoning is perfect and the honey butter seasoning reminds me of travelling around Asia! Their honey butter fries are also reallllllllly good! Even though it is a bit pricey, it is delicious and I think definitely worth it!
