Alyaan helped me get the gran lattisima machine, spend alot of time explaining and advice the best option and even helped me try the coffee. Giovanni was a great help and very friendly.The customer service was excellent in this location.

This is not the first time I visiting this store and come with a negative experience. Tbh every time I visited this store I feel like none of the employees wants to help us. In particular there’s an Asian female employee who is reluctant to answer any questions.
I thought I’m the only one that is not happy with this store. Turns out there are a lot more if we look at the google review here. @nespresso I think you need to provide more training to your employee huh?

If you look through the reviews, customers either have a great experience, or a horrible experience. I can honestly see why.
When I stepped foot into this store last week with my wife, we were pretty hesitant at first as we never experienced a coffee store quite like this. We read the signs and figured it out and waited in line for someone to greet us. The store was pretty busy so we weren't sure as to what to expect.
A few minutes in, we noticed how customer centric the store seemed to be, and quite frankly we were put at ease knowing we should be taken care of. All customers were smiling, sampling coffee and generally pleased with their purchases. That wasn't true for us at all.
The barista that supposedly helped us was not helpful in the least. He asked us if we were new, which we told him we were and he promptly created a profile for us. Now, knowing this, you'd think he would start off by giving us a little bit of information of how things worked at the store, but nope. We had to ask for samples, and when we did, he didn't seem too impressed. He just quickly walked off to the coffee bar and we trailed behind. First red flag.
Once we were seated, he asked us to take a look at the booklet of all the different flavours. It was pretty overwhelming and not once did he ask what we were looking for or explained anything pertaining to their products. He scoffed at each request and once we made our choice of sample, he asked us if we decided on our purchase and if not he'd go help another customer. Red flag number 2.
As we sat at the bar, we noticed every other customer had their barista chatting them up, casually talking about their products, letting their customers know how they work, asking what they were looking for and even shared their own experiences with the machines and coffee flavours. We had none of that. Our barista offered zero help and engagement was non existent. We ended up buying a single sleeve after a very awkward and to be honest, very lousy customer experience. Red flag number 3
From a store which seemed to be super customer focused we were severely let down. We were made to feel like we were a chore, and that we should've known what we wanted even though we were new. Upper management should really consider looking into what's going on at this location, and possibly retraining the said barista.
I see Nespresso here replying back to both positive and negative comments, so they're active here on Google reviews, but they, like our barista, aren't doing anything to rectify anybody's negative experiences. I for one will not be coming back to this location, and probably won't shop at any store at all. For anybody reading this wall of text, know that's how bad of an experience both my wife and I had. Enough to write a negative review with multiple paragraphs.
We really wanted to spend more of our money here, it was honestly a free sale, but Nespresso really dropped the ball and in this economy it doesn't bode well. I'm very curious as to what Nespressos' rebuttal will be.

Giovanni was so personable and went out of his way to take care of my friends visiting from Newfoundland today. He explained the Black Friday promotions and then offered to have the coffee shipped back to St. John’s with no extra charge. He went above and beyond to meet their needs and we really appreciated his kindness so very much. Thank you.

I am visiting from Newfoundland as we do not have a Nepresso Store. When I arrived I was greeted very kindly by the Manager, Giovanni. I wanted to take advantage of the Black Friday Deal which was of I purchased 18 boxes of coffee I would get 20% off and amount box of delicious chocolate. I told Giovanni that I was traveling back to Newfoundland the next day and did not have enough room in my luggage to take back 18 boxes. He was very kind and offered to send my coffee to my home address by courier. I did not expect this very thoughtful service. Thank you so much Giovanni for making my experience top notch!

We always look forward to seeing Neil at Nespresso! He greets us with a smile every time — friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable about all the pod flavor profiles. He remembers them all by heart and always clearly explain to us which promotion or option would suit us better.
When we do tastings, Neil always asks whether we’d like to try the coffee with or without milk or oat milk. Since my husband prefers his black, Neil will serve him first, then carefully add the right amount of milk based on how much espresso is left in the cup for me to try. His attention to detail is truly impressive.
During our recent visit last week with Aeroccino promo, he clearly explained to us the differences between the models and helped us choose the one that fits our needs perfectly. And we are very happy with the right choice.
There was once when we visited to taste the new festive pods but didn’t make any purchase as we are waiting for better promotion and Neil was still as friendly, patient, and professional as ever.
We are actually closer to the Nespresso store at Yorkdale, but we really prefer Neil’s outstanding service, product knowledge, and genuine care. He makes every visit a pleasant experience. Neil definitely deserves recognition — and a raise!

We participated in the Nespresso Masterclass on Sunday and it was an exceptional experience. I went in not expecting a lot but it was so much fun, learned a lot. Was a fan of Nespresso before this became an even bigger fan after. Everyone was so sweet as well.

Great experience at this boutique! They offer samples for all capsules and even let you get your samples with ice and milk. I got to try a few of the limited edition capsules. The employees were super friendly. Alexa helped me and was very knowledgeable and kind. She provided A+ customer service and informed me of the various store promotions. I will definitely be back to this location in the future!

Lawrence took excellent care of me. Bought 2 sleeves of coffee for my wife. Then Lawrence took the time to get to know me. Based on that conversation, he recommended a flavour of coffee that he thought I would like. I was unsure. Lawrence made a cup of that coffee for me and customized it with oat milk and brown sugar. It was great, so I bought another sleeve of that coffee. Lawrence knows his stuff and cares about his customers. Really appreciate what he does and how he does it.
