New Century Restaurant

Came here for dinner on a Friday night. It was very quiet inside which is odd, but I hear they are quite busy for Dim Sum. The mall they're located at is quite crappy, but their restaurant décor is nice, clean and modern.
The food is quite good here, and the portions are generous. We had ordered a set 10 person 10 course banquet. All the dishes were quite good. Normally I avoid the streamed chicken dish, but they did a soya sauce chicken which was very moist and flavourful.
The service was nice and friendly. They did come by and change our plates often. My only dislike was that they didn't assist with serving the courses. Under normal circumstances I don't expect them to, but when one orders from a banquet menu, I would expect them to divide up the main dish to the individual plates. The size of the ten person table and the Lazy Susan makes it difficult to serve one's self.

One of best dim sum places I have been recently. The food is good and service is excellent on week day. Hope busy weekend is the same. Oh, if you come before 11am on a week day, $5.20 per dim sum dish.

This restaurant looks nice after it got renovated. The food is delicious, but it can pricey depending on what you're eating. My parents had lunch with their friends today and their table number happened to be my beloved Grandma's house number. Her spirit will be with our family forever and she will always be in our hearts. This has nothing to do with New Century Restaurant, but I was very surprised when my mom told me the table number.

Very good banquet style food, Cantonese style. Good service. Atmosphere a little too loud for me.
