I ordered a combo at 7.25 and a box of fried rice at 10.00. I was charged 21.25????? The owner/chef/ service person is not ringing in the order!! He is NOT using a calculator, either. When I questioned him, he looked hesitated and asked me how much I paid? Eventually, he gave me back $2!!!! The question is, cash and order not rang in!!!! Obviously not receipt!!!!! What is he doing?!!!!! Should get CRA involved!! Food tastes okay, but I will not subsidize his OPERATIONS!!!

Congee in the mall. It’s perfectly balanced and authentic. Try it out. I will go back.

Tried it twice. Once, the deep fried donut was good. Another time tried the congee but the ingredients were clearly old and stale. Worst of all was the service - the middle aged woman taking orders/cashier was rude and arrogant. I'm not going back!

This place is taking advantage of the 2024-2025 holiday tax break by increasing the price by the HST amount, essentially pocketing the money the government gives back to consumers. My father (a senior) was a regular customer until he noticed the portion of meat was continuously reduced for a loyal customer. Highly recommended to avoid this place when possible.

Was in the area and needed to kill some time and wanted a congee, so I got one!
Prices were fair and the bowl was decent sized. The lean pork could’ve been sliced thinner but otherwise it was pretty good.

Ordered beef brisket rice take out. They gave me just plain beef on rice instead. The rice is very hard overnight rice. Not worth at all. Guilan Noodles are better but it's definitely not "Guilan" style. Just plain broth and lacks the spicy tangy nice of a classic Guilan Noodle.

Extremely rude hostess snatched sesame from my hand! She even gave me the finger!!!
I understand this is a food court environment and did not expect any type of service but… I ordered a plain rice roll that is typically served with sauces and sesame seed. This store leaves sauces and sesame on the counter for customers to do self serve. As I was adding sesame onto my dish, the hostess mumbled something like “enough”. I replied saying I prefer a bit more and gave the sesame bottle shaker another couple of shakes trying to get the sesame out. After all, it’s self-serve and I don’t think I added an abnormal nor excessive amount of sesame. Then, out of my surprise, the hostess snatched the bottle of sesame from my hand. ?
I was so shocked that I didn’t know how to respond but simply walked away. And when I looked back, she gave me the finger! I’m speechless…

The lady in the counter was very rude will look at you like you didn't pay right for the food. I asked a simple question and won't respond and I asked for another container for the sauce but she yelled in her language I think means no. The food was great but since the lady is very rude will not order here again.

I used to like its ready-to-cook porridge and rice rolls, but later on the sauce service was poor and an extra plastic spoon cost 25¢. Never want to patronize again.
