Awesome Meal-for-2 Deal. Check this out! Any two items under the special limited-time menu for $25.88 (+ tax & tips). Pick TWO drinks from red bean ice, grass jelly ice drink, coffee, or tea. Any day after 4 PM. Cash only. The red bean ice drink was a little bland. Not sweet enough with not much vanilla or milk flavor. Not much taste with the red bean too. Good freshness with some chewy texture though. Some other drinks might taste better. On the other hand, the food was good and we ordered 2x 2-deals. Among the four items we ordered, the Singapore Fried Vermicelli stood out pretty clearly. The curry spiciness was there yet not overpowering the rest of the dish. Nice veggies and shrimp. I like the vermicelli texture. Not oily at all. Try it out if you visit there. It doesn't say the deal till what date. Limited time offer. Visit there while it lasts. Woodbine location only at this point. McCowan is still under renovation. People said it would probably reopen in a week. Reasonably tasty, inexpensive, and recommended!

The first time to try this restaurant, because my friend sent me a new flyer that they are having a promotion, 2 meals with 2 drinks cash deal $25.88+tax. I aimed for the drink Red Bean Ice. We went to the Markham location around 7pm. It was full, and there were couples were still waiting for the tables. So we skipped the line to the counter, the staff was nice and quick to help me order my dishes, Pork Chop Cutlet with Egg Sauce on Rice and Curry Beef on Rice with 2 Red Bean Ice. We were asked to come back in 20 minutes. I went out for about 15 minutes then stepped back into the restaurant, our food was ready. The curry taste was good, but the rice was huge and the curry sauce with beef was in a small soup bowl. In the small soup bowl, 3 big chucks of potatoes were the most in the bowl, other than that a few pieces of beef on the top. Is the veggie really expensive? Pork Chop dish was dry and deep fried and crumble egg was not saucy. My red bean ice now, seems the red bean was not the sweet red bean, and the size was in a small cup, and I feel like that's red bean milk cold drink only. But may be that's because I did takeout. Based on the price, not too bad.

Its a pretty competitive area for hk style cafe food, this place does not live up. Many items are overpriced especially considering the food quality is very poor.

We came around 12:30pm for lunch and it was packed! We didn't have to wait too long before we got seated. The food came out quickly. The hong kong milk tea was ok, pretty standard but creamy. I ordered Y01 porkchop with black pepper sauce. Needless to say it was so bland...the meat wasn't crispy and I ate like I was being forced to eat food.My partner got the backed fried rice porkchop with red and white sauce. That was much more tasty and flavorful! I recommend that dish.It is hit or miss depending on what you order but this place is fairly standard. You get what you're looking for.

Dinner for three after a day of touring. Service was friendly and the meal was prepared quickly. The food was delicious but the strip mall atmosphere leaves something to be desired. The price was reasonable.

It's a casual hong kong restaurant with a plethora of food options that are commonly found on hk style diners and many drink options. For example, malaysian curry, pineapple buns, macaroni soup, baked rice and more. The experience here is definitely fast casual where you order online and they bring it to you. I'd say it's a minimal service restaurant. Food is okay here, nothing mind blowing and lacks a bit of the uniqueness and homey vibes from typical hk restaurants. However, the interior is spacious and in a very central part of mississauga which makes it very accessible and convenient, plus decent for larger groups.

At 4pm, we were the only two diners. I had ordered a bowl of fried pork chop with instant noodles and a hot drink for me. After waiting about 25 minutes, I urged the waitress to check the order. The pork chop tastes okay, but the instant noodles have been soaked for too long and have lost their taste and texture. I have never eaten noodles that taste so bad. I believe that after the noodles were cooked, they were left for too long and then be taken out. The noodles was completely ruined. It cost $12.50 before tax and tips which is totally not worth. I will definitely not go to that restaurant in the future.
